About the Author

Shaun Connors co-editor of Jane's Military Vehicles and Logistics in April 2001. In 11 years of industry involvement Shaun, in addition to writing and professional photography, has also undertaken a number of industry consultations and gained 'hands-on' experience of a wide variety of in-service and developmental military vehicles and equipment, manufactured and in-service worldwide. Christopher Foss is the Editor of Jane's Armour and Artillery and Co-editor of Jane's Armour and Artillery Upgrades, Jane's Land-Based Air Defence and Jane's Military Vehicles and Logistics; he also acts as the Land Forces Editor of Jane's Defence Weekly. Since 1979 he has acted as a self-employed contractor with the company and a number of other organisations and companies throughout the world. He has written numerous books relating to armoured vehicles and weapons systems both for Jane's and for other publishers. He has also lectured in a number of countries, chaired many conferences.
