It’s not an accurate description, there is a hole in the green bag, the black bag has a seem that’s falling apart. The goretex bivy is stained with some black substance.
No honest at all.
This bag is one level above POOR CONDITION.
NOT AS ADVERTISED. IF I DON’T GET SOME RESOLUTION THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. I will try to get in touch with the seller ASAP.

My wife and I have been using the MSS system purchased 20 years ago from an army store in Kentucky, at twice the price now on Amazon.
As we live in a climate that gets down to zero and below, we keep two of the systems in the truck. Way too many die in disabled vehicles due to weather conditions without a proper way to stay war and survive.
Last week I order a system from Amazon. It was brand new, still in the bag and except for one pulled out and missing snap, was perfect.
I have just ordered another.
At this price, the bags are a perfect gift for grown children, grandchildren and other family members to keep in their cars/trucks during the winter.
Took my own advice and bought another MSS from this vendor for a family member.
The second system arrived in perfect condition. No cleaning solvent odor, none in first as well. It appears to have never been issued or use. All the snaps are there, one was missing on the first system bought last week.
Forgot to mention that when we use the system, we seldom zip up past our waist, leaving the bag cracked open to exhaust the generated body heat. Only under extreme conditions do we have both arms in the bag, another temperature adjustment technique.
For $220 it is a steal. Have seen them listed at $900+.
It only smells lightly musty from being in storage. Not dirty, doesn't even look used. The label is worn to the point of being impossible to read on the bottom of the bags.
