Purchased POGS for sister, did not get what was expected

Growing up, my sister and I would play POGS with the neighbor kids. We ALWAYS played for keeps, and we were both quite excellent, if I do say so myself. Over the years, the remaining POGS that weren't ruined in a small house fire were lost or ruined. I purchased some for my sister's birthday, purely out of nostalgia. While the toys may not be educational, they are fun and nostalgic! I think this company is misleading in it's description. You don't receive the POGS listed...the "and many more" pretty much means you get the junker cheap POGS rather than the cool ones listed. I guess that's what you get for ordering online though. They're excellent if you're getting them for a young child who will beat them up, but they're nothing special and not worth ordering (from this company) for someone who is interested in having them for nostalgic reason. Along with that, this company sent many that were bent and the cardboard was fraying at the edges. After placing my review on the seller, I got an incredibly rude and unprofessional email response, in which I was personally attacked.
While I adore POGS and the memories they bring back, this experience was not worth the POGS- I do not recommend this seller, find another seller with manner and better quality products!

Worst item I've ever boughten on Amazon

I knew that there were going to be a bunch of repeats, but why was over half of them the swans princess? The rest was mostly these zombie guys dressed in difference sport outfits. Does not bringing back any memories and I was born in the late 80s so I should have some sort of idea where they from. Where are all the yin Yang's, tie dye, peace signs, Global Guts, Mortal Kombat, Ren and Stimpy etc.? I mean they don't even have Cat Dog in here! There's nothing in here! On top of it I got a package of Angry Bird Pogs and the Slammers were a weightless plastic. I'm so disappointed.

Fun time for the boys, but don't expect to get most of the POGS in the description

You will not get a good mix of POGS like the description states. We mostly got a bunch of generic sports and skull POGS. There were a small handful of Dinsey POGS (10-15) and I got a chuckle out of the Waterworld POGS. It did come with two small cases and some nice metal slammers so it wasn't a bad value. Just don't expect to get anything really exciting. The boys really enjoy playing with them so that is ultimately what was important.

"You Get What You Pay For"

Me and my husband had a 90s toy talk one night and I decided to go on Amazon and buy this set of POGS. These were the first sellers I saw for a cheaper price. They did in fact arrive on time but we were highly disappointed that there was not one memorable POG from there listed description. Three quarters of the POGS we got were a combination of old hockey teams (neither one of us care for hockey....at all), Christmas/New Years/ and Jesus/Bible sayings. The other 30 were alright, half were skater ones and the other were the Bad Boys Club. But overall it was a big let down.
As for the Slammers, they gave us two plastic ones, and when we were kids we had metal ones so that kind of sucked. We played outside with them the last couple nights and the slammers are already scratched up but I guess that is our fault for not being gentle with them.
If I were to do it over, I would take that old phrase, "You get what you pay for" to heart.
We are in fact enjoying reminiscing our youth and playing with them, they just aren't the awesome ones we hoped for.

I loved that the POGs shipped to me were ones that I used to have or remember other kids seeing, it was an awesome blast from the past! The one issue I had was that there were multiple 2-3 of the same POGs. I just wished that there was more variety and not so many copies...then again with them being from the 90's I'm sure they can be hard to come by.

I love pogs so very much. And you get a variety. But I was disappointed in my variety and slammers. The slammers are beyond basic chunks of black plastic and basically half of the pogs were Casper the friendly ghosts. I'd still try to order again but for sure hope for a better selection and maybe some BLADES.
