Ok so I finally got to use this at a hotel since my kids and Mom occupied the double bed. It wasn’t too bad! I had a good nights sleep and I didn’t feel the hard carpeted floor. As mentioned I am 5 ft and 124 lbs and I got 2 decent nights. I positioned my head at the edge of the bed so that my feet wouldn’t dangle in the air and it worked. For anyone taller, wider and heavier than me – not sure how they would fare (as this is a toddler nap matteress LOL) But if you are similar build as me then this would do emergencies! I am tempted to get the adult version of this as it is wider and longer (maybe if it goes on sale!) But for now this will do.
About me: 5 ft, 124lbs
Main Usage: Lunch Hour Nap in my Honda CR-V
Future Usage: Extra Bed for me when I'm @ hotel room (when my sons & Mom claim the available beds LOL)
What I like:
1) Small and portable to keep in my vehicle for hour naps
2) Seems firm and comfy enough to sleep on - haven't had any back issues
3) Price seemed fair (but I missed out on $5 price reduction after I bought it <sniff> )
4) Comes with a cover
What I don't like:
1) Should have come with a bag/case - you have to buy it separately which I did.
2) No way to buy another cover and I'm afraid to wash it in case it falls apart in the wash (will update when I wash)
My solutions in general:
I want an extra cover/sheet to protect it. So I bought this sofa cushion cover from Amazon, velvet softness fabric, stretchy. Should arrive tomorrow and I'll let you know if that works. I didn't want to get the crib sheet because even though its stretchy its small and from other reviews a pain to put on/off when folding. I also didn't want the corners of the mattress to deform.
Update: yay the velvet loveseat cover cushion definitely works for this. So that would be what I would recommend to people who need a cover for it. Even when I fold the map map back This is not a pain to do so with this velvet loveseat cover question. I bought two of them now. Will show a picture when I get a chance.

It's pretty firm, but I like that, and find it cozy!
CONS :
This thing smells like death upon opening the product. I'd seen that this was the case, so I was anticipating it, and it was still shockingly awful. It's a very strong chemical-like odor, I'm sure from the shrink-wrap like material it comes squeezed inside. However, this should be fixed at some point, because this is a good product otherwise.
I tried to let them air dry in a spare room in our house, but then the entire upstairs just smelled like chemicals.
I fixed the smell by washing them off, they have a netting around them, so I sort of squeezed some soap into it, and after a REALLY LONG TIME, and lot of effort I squeezed out the soap and had them rinsed. From there, I let them air dry in the living room for 3 days. After all of that, I was very hesitant to put them in my car, (because it gets hot), and I was horribly scared that awful smell would resurface, but it hasn't! About a month in and still no smell!
So, good luck. Buy at your own risk, but be prepared. I however, think it was very worth it!
