About the Author
ANTHONY NORVELL (1908–1990) was a popular writer and lecturer on occult and esoteric topics, particularly the uses of visualization to bend reality to the individual’s personal will. He had a gift for making arcane ideas into workable, practical, and accessible methods. For many years, he lectured weekly at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The Million Dollar Secret Hidden in Your Mind, originally published in 1963, was among his most popular works.

Unfortunately the formatting ruined my use and enjoyment of this book. It is just horrible with sentences splintered and separated, blank pages and empty boxes. It is highly annoying and is the reason for the three stars. Were I to purchase this book again, I would buy it in paperback.
It's a bit dated, of course, having been first published in 1963. But most of it reads like it was written today. Norvell was a very good writer, and his take on mind power is clear and concise; no undue mysticism here. Being a silent film fan myself, I especially enjoyed his references to silent film stars that he personally met who were still alive at the time.
A fine and fun read with many useful nuggets for the success-minded. I hope Tarcher brings out more of Norvell's many books. Should appeal to fans of The Magic of Believing, Think & Grow Rich, The Power of The Subconscious Mind, and Psycho-Cybernetics.
Man. Its a Mind Game" by Sampson Brown, Jr. Now out of print.
