I was fortunate enough to speak with Julia on the phone after reading the book and she mentioned how after she wrote this book many of her advisors asked her "Are you sure you want to publish this? Isn't this a bit embarrassing?" That's when you know it's a good book. Real, raw, humbling advice that isn't try to draw attention to her own journey, but is highlighting the mistakes and helping you not only avoid them but overcome them.
