Even the two pet dogs are adorable personalities. I want a Chinese Crested!!!
The point is that I'm only just past the halfway point in this book, and every day I'm so glued to it that I have to literally stop myself from reading it so quickly...it would have been finished in at most two days otherwise. I'm trying to make it last (ha ha ha) a week. Not gonna happen.
How anyone could have given "A Million Little Things" only one star is mind-boggling. It makes no sense at all for such a great book. No wonder only one person gave it one star.
Buy this book! You won't be disappointed!
From the reviews I gathered that it was very definitely a ladies genre, but I said 'what the heck, what is it that my wife discusses with all the ladies when they go to their book clubs?'
So I bought the book and Unbelievably I read it every chance I got, and I almost had a panic attack when I realized I was reading the last page. Within seconds I was on the Amazon website and found the author and realized that this is series of stories: so I purchased book # 1 and I am now a fan, and I think I will be able to understand more about what makes the ladies tick!
I am thankfully hooked!!!!!
This book is about love, acceptance, knowing when to let go, and possibilities, if you are willing to take a chance. It is part of the Mischief Bay series and it was nice to see familiar characters, along with the introduction of new ones. It could be read alone. I highly recommend this book for an enjoyable afternoon read. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy. I would give this book 4 1/2 stars.
