What I love about this book is how it basically educates the readers through an easy-to-understand way of writing. I love how it informs the importance of the basic food groups. In a way, I felt motivated to venture into a healthier lifestyle because of this. The only drawback I found in this book was the length. I wish it was longer so that many things are being tackled and more elaborated. Otherwise, it was still a very helpful book.
The author starts at the basic level of defining “dieting” terms and explaining how they are truly used. He also goes through the different food groups, so you have a better understanding how different foods fall into different categories. He also goes into detail about how different factors can affect your specific caloric intake for optimal energy.
Overall, this is a great book full of tips to help you take small steps to change your habits and achieve a healthier lifestyle.
