It is clearly written and very logical. The pictures are helpful, too. Perhaps I'll write more later. I was already inspired to write my first mind map. I did it by hand and it was much, much faster than what I did on my Mac. I downloaded iMindMap, which is a very nice software and I'll probably use it for presentations but for my own use, I'll stick to handwriting and drawing. Worth buying.

This book is not actually written by Tony Buzan (he provides a Forward for it). The writer is Florian Rustler, described as a 'Mind Mapping trainer'. We are told that Rustler was introduced to Mind Mapping at school by a teacher, an introduction that took all of 10 minutes, which he followed up by reading Tony Buzan's book on Mind Mapping (the title of which is not provided), and this book enabled him to 'apply the Mind Mapping technique'. Did he apply it effecitvely? Did Mind Mapping contribute significantly to business success or academic achievement? Surprisingly, we are not told this. All we are told of Mr. Rustler is that he went on to become a Mind Mapping tutor, runs courses, and published an on-line Mind Mapping course.
My advice? If you want a book on Mind Mapping, then you would do better to go for the Mind Mapping book READ by Mr. Rustler, rather than the one written by him.
If this book is typical of the '....For Dummies' series, then this will be my last purchase from among the long, and growing list of titles available in the genre. I may be a Dummy, but I am no mug!
I would highly recommend this book.
