Books like this one do a good job in introducing people to mindfulness. This is a standard beginners guide, it ticks all the boxes. What is mindfulness, why is it important, how to practice it, some good advice and all that put into nice writing. The book is very brief so you should go through it quickly, but hold that advice with you. Mindfulness has the potential to massively improve your life, believe me.
