About Us

It all started in 1988. A ton of teen retail accessory stores littered the malls, but there weren't any cool, music-inspired accessory destinations for both guys and girls. Enter Hot Topic.

As 1990 rolled around, adding apparel seemed like a no-brainer, so we brought in the ultimate music fan essential: band T-shirts. Customers flipped when they walked into Hot Topic stores and saw Bauhaus, The Cure, TSOL, and Depeche Mode rock tees. Within a year, we offered about 50 different band titles, along with rock-inspired clothing lines like Lip Service and Serious. As we continued to expand, we discovered that our customers were also drawn to the underground cartoon, cult movie, and comic book scenes, so we brought the world of South Park, Care Bears, Superman, SpongeBob and tons of other pop icons right to them!

Well-made, quality toys. The appearance of the block and figure are true to the game. Steve is highly poseable and can do just about any pose he's capable of in the game. His neck can't pivot back and he can't 'sneak' since his legs don't bend at the knee, but he's still really well articulated for a figure this size, with 6 points in all. Since the feet are cuboid, you can stand him up in a variety of positions as well.

These Jazwares figures look exactly like the ingame creatures. You can't build with them like their LEGO counterparts, but they're much more substantial as toys. You can exchange hand tools as well as helmets to customize these figures somewhat, for those who like that.

I recommend these!

Loved and fought over by my three kids, I may have to order more "Diamond Steves," as he is definitely the favorite! The entire collection is very sturdy and good for real life Minecraft play, we use them along side our own papercraft creations. The only problem I have with this character in particular is that his helmet does NOT fit on "normal" Steve from this collection, it will go onto their heads, but it WILL NOT come off (at least not without some skilled wiggling and pulling.) So I have to rescue his helmet from the other fatter headed Steves regularly. My kids are pretty rough with toys, and I've had an arm joint break on one of these guys (the Enderman, not this figure in particular.) But otherwise, very good little toys. Love them!

I would recommend him to any little Minecraft fan. A+

This was a huge hit for my little guy this year. We had to find STEVE!! He was sold out in stores but luckily Amazon had him. My only complaint is he is pricey. It is half the price in stores and he is a small toy.
