Food Packaging, Processing Equipment & Supplies
Since our founding in 1883, UltraSource has served the processing and packaging equipment needs of thousands of companies worldwide in the meat and poultry, seafood, produce, dairy, medical, and pharmaceutical industries. Whether it's kill floor, further processing, vacuum or modified atmosphere packaging, or high-speed labeling, our comprehensive offering includes hundreds of products that enable us to custom tailor equipment solutions that meet the production line objectives, labor goals, budget constraints, and brand image of our customers.
Mineral Oil for Everything
White mineral oil from UltraSource (sometimes called liquid parrafin) a non-toxic, non-drying product derived from petroleum that is colorless, odorless, and flavorless. It has a variety of applications for personal care, pharmaceutical, and industrial machinery maintenance. The oily characteristics make them ideal to lubricate, smooth, soften, extend and resist moisture in many formulations. Our food grade mineral oils are most commonly used in food-handling applications. They lubricate food-handling equipment, impregnate wrapping paper to keep foods crisp, and polish stainless steel surfaces for food contact. Cosmetic applications are also very popular, with mineral oil being a great way to remove oil-based makeup.

Wooden Cutting Boards
Mineral oil naturally restores moisture to wood and seals out food-borne bacteria and odors. Oil-treatment prevents drying & cracking, and prolongs the life span of wooden butcher blocks, furniture, and utensils.
Stainless Steel Surfaces
Mineral oil creates a food-safe barrier that does not evaporate, keeping stainless steel surfaces from collecting germs and bacteria. Perfect for counter tops, knives, and other food-prep surfaces.
Purified mineral oil is widely used in cosmetic products, but is also an effective skin moisturizer. It acts as a natural barrier without clogging pores, and prevents dry and cracking skin.
Food grade mineral oil has a wide variety of applications and benefits, such as lubricating and protecting food processing machines, preserving wood prep surfaces (cutting boards/butcher blocks), protecting knives from rust, and even serves as a natural laxative. Mineral oil from UltraSource is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless mixture of saturated paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons. Our food grade white oils are chemically, and biologically stable, and do not support bacterial growth. Also contains vitamin E, a natural antioxidant to protect quality during handling and storage. Meets FDA requirements for food contact surfaces, and is safe for all food preparation surfaces. Treating wood cutting boards and butcher blocks preserves the quality of the wood and prevents drying or cracking and prevents the spread of bacteria.

UPDATE: Been treating lots of wooden kitchen utensils with this. Works great. Heated some on the stove and melted in food grade bee's wax. Poured the mixture into a glass mason jar. Once cooled I put on a final coat on the utensils and cutting boards. Love it.
