It isn't a slim case, but if you are looking for a comfortable, protective and good looking case for your tablet + dock this is it.
Overall appearance is of decent quality. It's not a "Tumi" level quality, but for the price, it's nice quality. The leather feels and looks good.
It fits the keyboard and display well for its price point. If I were spending more than 50.00, I would probably expect better, but since it's quite a bit less, I'm happy. The keyboard slides in and is kept in place by two leather pieces on the lower right and left of the keyboard. They tend to gap up a bit, particularly when the case is open and in use. I'm not overly bothered by it. It actually makes typing a bit easier, supporting my wrists slightly. But, it is a little undesirable, probably a material with more give than leather would be ideal for the areas that need to be taut to hold the unit, but also need to give when the case is opened or closed.
All ports have access - at least all the ones I have tried. I have not used the camera yet. I read reviews of other cases that caused vignetting. I will update this after a week and will test it out.
One of the reasons why I selected this case is because the case works both with the keyboard dock attached, or detached. The keyboard portion cleanly attaches with snaps. Another case was rejected because it attached with flaps which appeared to always protrude from the bottom front of the keyboard, which seems annoying. There is a piece which flips back behind the display and also has a small flap with slits for a few cards/ids whatever. I don't see using that for much, but I am keeping my cloth for the display in the flap which is somewhat convenient.
Now the one and only negative that I've found so far. When the case is all closed, it appears that it is held shut by magnets. I say "it appears" because the magnets are not very strong at all. It doesn't pull the case tightly closed, and doesn't seem to protect it very well in that regard. The case doesn't really close well. If they would have either put in stronger magnets or a snap it would have been better. Other than that small issue - I am very pleased with the case, and I tend to be pretty picky!
