Product Description

The Mag riser block 3 from Minoura Lifts up your front wheel during a training session to be at a natural level. This block fits both MTB and road bike tire widths. Minoura invented the Mag trainer, it is no wonder that they were the first to prefect it. Minoura trainers, ROLLERs and accessories will ensure you are ready to perform at the highest level. For 80 years, the family-owned Minoura of Japan has been a manufacturer of outstanding cycling trainers, ROLLERs and accessories. They are known the world over for quality craftsmanship and design and all trainers are made within Minoura own factory in Japan. Known for unique designs, Minoura developed the first eddy current magnetic bicycle trainer in 1987 and the first rim drive trainer in 1994.

Train in an ergonomically correct position with the Minoura riser block. Stationary bike trainers have to lift the rear wheel to help it spin, which puts the rider at a tilted-downward angle. This forces the rider to apply unnecessary force to the handlebar to support his or her upper body. The plastic riser block responds by putting the front wheel at the same level as the rear wheel. The position is not only more comfortable, but it also makes training more effective. The riser block includes a wide and shallow groove for mountain bike tires and a narrow, deep groove for 700c road bike tires.

I keep things simple in life. I bought a trainer for my bike for the winter months if I can't ride. I needed a RISER Block / this work out great / no problems / made from heavy plastic. Now, I use it on my Kitchen floor which it sides but stays inplace, the most part / as I am peddling, pushing the bike, I like movement in the front to give me that work out. The block stays with the bike. On more stable unsmooth floors it will not move as much. A good tip# Take a scrap rug under the bike if you don't want any chain grease or oil on your floor. I will peddle for an Hr, or ten miles....

The Riser block arrived quickly. It does hold the front wheel steady and holds the bike off the floor so it is even with the back wheel. With no moving parts, not much can go wrong. I am quite pleased with it.

It works just great, does exactly what it was designed to do. I am told I cannot submit without 8 more words, this is ridiculous, if one can say it in less words that should be enough, how about fixing that .

What can you say about a block of plastic? It does what it says, gives "Rise". Period. I like that it allows for different tire sizes, but, it lacks security and stability. The front tire moves out of alignment, left to right, creeps forward out from under the tire and has to be re-adjusted before each session. If it would only stay put.

It gets used 3 to 4 times a week and it's holding up nicely so far. My training consists of high intensity sprinting so I wasn't sure it would hold up to the workout - I was pleasantly surprised. Stays put on the carpet unless I need to adjust the wheel myself.

It's not a heavy block and will move easily even on a carpeted surface if you turn your bike this way and that. For less than twelve bucks, though, it works as intended and I am happy with it. It cradles the front wheel of my Raleigh ladies' mountain bike well, and the wheel stays put while I am riding.

Simple enough molded device for road and off-road tires. I use this for a tri bike, so thin 700c tires and weight-forward aero position. stable, doesn't move around, holds weight, I like the design of this unit better than some of the others that seem to be pushing a ridge into part of your tire. In this design, I feel like the front tire just sits nicely within and won't take any unnecessary indoor damage.

I bought an indoor bike trainer but I needed a riser for the front wheel because the right pedal kept hitting the trainer.
It seems a little over priced for a little chunk of plastic but it's exactly what I needed.
