The Sargas 450 SK is made of a durable microfiber cloth material with slightly more friction than coated mouse pads. The special microfiber surface counteracts data loss and improves the sensor tracking performance. The Sargas 450 SK was built with our in-house S.Q.A.T. technology which tests the data loss of the surface, many months of testing has been carried out to ensure that this cloth pad has an extremely low data loss. The underside is made of a natural rubber offering a firm grip irrespective of the surface under the mouse pad or extensive movements. The wide tracking area ensures for long sweeping movements without interruption.

This pad, as is my preference, is a soft cloth pad. As such, I will be comparing it to other cloth pads.
The SARGAS 900 is an very thin pad. It is in fact one of the very thinnest cloth pads I've ever used. This means that any imperfections in your desk will be more noticeable through the pad, and it will give your hand (and mouse, if you are one of those cavemen who like to slam your electronics on the table) less cushion. It is however still soft enough to feel comfortable under one's hands, elbows, or whatever else you might place on your desk. The thinness also has the benefits of making the pad much lighter and more flexible than other pads, and contributes to its speed, which I will write more on later.
Unlike many modern gaming pads, this pad does NOT have any sort of reinforced stitching on the edges. I imagine this will be less of a problem with this pad, due to how thin and flexible it is, but it will likely eventually still peel up at the edges. I haven't owned it long enough to say, but it is my experience that generally if the mousepad is well made, the surface will eventually become dirty and worn out enough to warrant a replacement before fraying edges actually become a (non-cosmetic) problem.
I personally like that this mousepad is almost entirely black, with only a small, tasteful logo in the corner. Unfortunately, the newer versions have a much larger logo across half the pad, but even those are more tasteful than many of the competitor's extremely garish modern designs (I'm looking at you Razer Goliathus). I do have two cosmetic qualms however. First, the oddly shaped bottom does not seem to have any purpose other than looking completely out of place if you do not use the pad completely centered on your desk. Second, if you flip the pad so the flat edge is on the bottom (which I've done, as it allows it to fit the typical computer desk layout much better), the logo also becomes upside down and looks a bit odd, but luckily is small enough to ignore.
Personally, I use a full size mechanical keyboard, along with a left hand gaming device (see Logitech G13, Razer Orbweaver, etc), and a fairly large gaming mouse. I like a lot of room to swipe my mouse around, so large mouse pads are a natural fit. This particular pad is SO large that is simply is not practical to use exclusively for your mouse. Instead, it is intended for one to place their keyboard on the pad as well. There is little inherent benefit to doing so however, as opposed to simply using a more practically sized pad exclusively for your mouse, but it does look a lot cooler... IF you center the pad under your keyboard... and that is where the problems I mentioned above come into play. That said, for users who only need a relatively "normal" size mouse pad and do not use an additional left hand device, or are using a compact keyboard, this pad should easily fit centered and not be a problem. For me however, I must use it with my keyboard to the far left and the left hand device no on the pad at all in order to have enough room for my prefered mouse movements, which looks rather odd due to the shape of the bottom of the pad.
Perhaps the most important aspects of a mouse pad however are the glide and tracking. I've used several mice on this pad without any tracking issues at all. As for glide, this is without a doubt the slickest, smoothest cloth mousepad I have ever used. Assuming you have good condition teflon feet on your mouse, it will glide like butter on this pad. It is in fact faster than some of the hard pads I've used, and may be too fast for many users.
For my personal needs, I knock off a star just for the weird shape at the bottom. The quality of the pad however is top notch, and the price is reasonable.
NOTE: My review is for the largest size. This pad also comes in smaller (much more practical really, and cheaper too!) sizes which I would recommend to most users.
Fits my keyboard and mouse, and provides a nice and clean look to my desktop set up.
I do not have to worry that my mouse will leave the mouse pad.
Nice smooth feel of the mouse pad.
Rubberized grip on the other side, so the mouse pad doesn't move around, and because it is so large, I doubt it will.
Price is worth it for the quality of this large mouse pad.
When I first opened it, I noticed that the mouse pad emitted a weird overwhelming smell (hard to describe)
Ive seen complaints about it peeling on the sides, ive yet to see any peeling.
If you want a new mouse pad then i do suggest Mionix. If this is too big for you, step down a size. You wont regret it.
