Mira Kraz (aka Kathryn Moore) was born just outside Seattle, WA in 1986 and has spent the majority of her life roaming the western states. Her mother was a stickler when it came to grammatical and spelling errors, and her borderline-neurotic attitude transferred to Mira. One of Mira's favorite childhood pastimes involved solving word puzzles in Reader's Digest magazines with her mother, allowing her to obtain an active vocabulary years beyond her classmates.
Mira has spent several years working as a ghostwriter/freelancer, providing content for websites and promotional tools on a considerable number of subjects. After working an average of 16 hours a day, typically seven days a week, she was still unable to pay for the essentials of life, and finally decided to turn from freelance work, overcome her fears of failure, and pursue the dream she'd yearned for since her youth: genuine, uninhibited authorship.
Unlike some authors, who prefer to specialize in particular genres, Mira has no such restraint, and enjoys writing about anything and everything. Her favorite genres include science fiction, fantasy, literature, contemporary romance, paranormal romance/thriller, general thriller, psychological fiction, and suspense. Genre is a secondary consideration for her; as long as the story is solid that's all she cares about.
