Best swaddle blanket I've ever used

This is the best swaddle blanket we have used, and we've tried everything! Our son is a little "Houdini" (as we call him) because prior to purchasing the Miracle Blanket, he would escape from every swaddle we tried, no matter how tight we made it. People raved about the Aden and Anais swaddle blankets and yes, they're nice and I can see them working for a less active baby, but for us it wasn't happening. We also tried the velcro swaddle blankets but those failed because he would stick his arm out at the bottom below the velcro and pull everything up (sometimes even undoing the velcro). We also tried a Woombie sleep pod, but that gave him too much room to move around inside of and the neck area seemed very tight which made me uncomfortable. The Miracle Blanket is awesome - the arm flaps keep his arms in and he cannot break out. Since we started using it, he sleeps heavier and longer (he cannot sleep without a swaddle because he moves his arms so much and hits himself in the face). There were even times when he is just fussy/crying, and I put him in his Miracle Blanket and he calms down instantly. He loves it and so do we! Great product, we have three of them and I'll probably end up buying more! Highly recommend!

Wasn't for us but I would still recommend trying it! It was difficult for our strong baby girl to break out of this and it did calm her down. She even slept well in it! I gave it three stars because, compared to other swaddles, there are just too many steps! It was too difficult to un-swaddle and re-swaddle her in the the middle of the night. Again, I say give it a try. It might be your miracle... it just wasn't ours.

I love this blanket! Price is a bit high that is why i gave it 4 stars but my son loves to move his arms around and around and wakes him up at times with his twitching (even in the velcro swaddles) This one is great because it doesn't have those velcro straps. It does take a good while to wrap the baby in but its worth it.

Our baby was a little hesitant being wrapped in this at first, but after about a wk he began sleeping through the night! I attribute that to this swaddle. It keeps his arms from flailing & is easy to use - baby can't break out of it! We tried several pre-made swaddle blankets that didn't work at all. Swaddling with regular receiving blankets didn't do the trick for us either. This has been great - ordered a second one. He cries a little when first being wrapped, but almost immediately calms down when we pick him up. Kinda pricey, but seems worth it!

We did not like the design of this for our baby. He managed to kick his feet out of the bottom sack, we did not like how difficult it was to wrap his arms up inside, and for late night changing/feedings the wrapping and unwrapping were a big hassle and more rousing than we'd prefer.

I've been told by pretty much all health care providers not to pin the baby's arms down straight in a swaddle. One nurse said "it's up to us" but that the SIDS recommendation is to bend the arms so fists are by the checks (where they naturally hold them in the womb). I've tried and failed to use this with his arms folded. I'll try again during the day but gave up after a few tries. I don't find it any easier than just using a swaddle blanket, so what's the point?
