Having read that some folks stoppered up the tip from the inside with some sort of makeshift washer-gasket thingy to build up pressure, guess what I did to extract more juice?
I held the big side of the supplied green plunger wand over the OUTSIDE of the tip for a few cranks. Everything backed up inside and voila! Juice. Sure, I ran the pulp through a couple of times but it was fun. You would not believe how delicious the tough ends broken off asparagus, the huge bottom of a cauliflower, a couple of celery stalks and a half of tomato pushed in whole were.
In a few days when the wheatgrass is peak, I'll be ready.
I have to say, once I found out about manual juicers, I looked all over the internet for the cheapest price. I did come across cheaper manual juicers, but they were made out of iron (will rust) and were coated with a zinc paint that many people said flakes off and can get into the juice. So honestly it wouldn't be worth paying $30-$40 for one of the cheap manual juicers, not to mention unhealthy! Who would want rust or paint chips in the juice they are drinking for health!
So to sum up my review, I can honestly say that the Stainless Steel Miracle Juicer is well worth the money, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a manual juicer.
