Teo didn't want to take his son to the camp but his nanny quit without notice so he had to take the baby along. But what could he do with him when he was on the field? Lucky for him he spotted a woman who clearly liked kids so he handed the baby to her to watch.
This was a fun story about a single dad who played for the NFL. He was a tough guy who played hard on the field but was a softie when it came to his baby son. He met Cedar when he got to the camp. She was thrilled to be running it as an intern for her master's program. I liked how she cared about the baby and agreed to be his nanny (for a short time). I really liked the way Cedar and Teo fought their attraction but lost the battle.
I enjoy clean romances but this book was absolutely squeaky clean. A college student and an NFL player doing nothing more than having make-out sessions! Not in this day and age.
My rating is 3.5 stars rounded to 4 stars.
Cedar and Teo's cute romance was a fun escape read. More of a 3.5 for me as a reader, but clever and fun for a light read. They definitely had attraction, chemistry, and some fun moments. As they worked around their misunderstandings, concerns, and worries, along with figuring out some hopes and dreams, they grew together and made a beautiful couple. Akone, Teo's son was a cute complication and fun part of the story. Fun background and continuing story of the Texas Titans, and Cedar's backstory with her career, ideas and plans as she finished with her schooling.
L.M. always writes a fun read!
