William R. Leibowitz has been practicing entertainment law in New York City for a number of years. He has represented numerous renown recording artists, songwriters, producers and many of the leading record companies, talent managers, merchandisers and other notable entertainment businesses. At one point, he was the Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel for the Sanctuary Group of Companies, a U.K. public company that was the largest 'indie' music company in the world (prior to its acquisition by the Universal Music Group). William has a Bachelor of Science Degree from New York University (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and a law degree from Columbia University. He lives in the village of Quogue, New York with his wife, Alexandria, and dog, George.

1. Miracle Man, by author William R. Leibowitz, is a psychological thriller story about a man who takes being a genius to the next level. The book follows the life of Robert James Austin, the most intelligent man that has ever existed in history. Robert James Austin is forced to fight for the right to be his own man and seek out the answer to such questions as to how he became so intelligent? And why there are people out to get him for it? Since the age of four, Robert has been used and controlled. The people around him want him to serve their own needs, but when he rebels, wishing to use his great mind for good, his life takes a dark and dangerous turn. I like the fact that the superintelligence in this book is treated as a kind of like a superpower and this as a superhero book. The idea of using one’s brain and skills (albeit taken to a superhuman level) could be used to save people has a more humanizing and realistic feel to it. Robert strives to save people through his abilities and knowledge of the medical field. This was a really cool way of addressing powers and the desire to help the world. The plot as a whole was really exciting to me. There were sections that were slower and more focused on Robert and just how much of a genius he is but the mystery and intrigue behind the story was plenty captivating enough to keep my eyes glued to the page. Leibowitz has a real talent for bringing his characters to life and for writing a story that is truly unique and entertaining. I loved reading this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves psychological thriller stories.

I won't go into story details since you have probably read the synopsis already. First of all I liked the book and would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could be more specific. I read the bood in two days. The concept of the book was interesting and I found myself rooting for the main character through the entire story. Leibowitz has said that his aim was to create a superhero that would be very different from the typical marvel comics types. I am not sure he quite made it but he came very close. I also found that I enjoyed the way he writes dialog. It's a bit stilted at times but it comes across as genuine. Most people when they are speaking with someone are saying whatever first comes to their minds. They rarely think first before speaking. Writers have the luxury of carefully planning out a conversation between characters. This may make for snappy dialog but it all too often makes it a bit artificial. For the most part Mr. Leibowitz avoids this trap. The dialog between characters has a real extemporaneous quality just like real speech. There was, however, one aspect of the book that kept making me stumble out of his fictional world. Often he would rush characters in and out of Bobby's life. Several characters that had profound impacts on Bobby's life just sort of appeared and within a few paragraphs Bobby's world had dramatically shifted sometimes for the good and sometimes not. The transitions were just too rapidly written. There are so many areas in this tale left unexplored that I could wish that Mr. Leibowitz would take it back and work on it a little longer and mine some of those rich veins that are just sitting there begging to be extracted. All that being said, thanks to Mr. Leibowitz for all his hard work and and enjoyable read.

Robert Austin is a genius. And we all know geniuses both fascinate and frighten, both in equal measures. For some, Austin represents the promise of the future where his skills can be used to advance technology for the American government. Or, he can be used as a weapon. Regardless, many people from many different backgrounds show immense interest in Austin, even from an early age.

From the time he was a toddler, his parents struggled with their unique son. After seeking assistance from medical professionals, they ultimately abandon Robert. Eventually, as Robert grows, he outpaces his teachers and slowly but surely becomes a superhero who uses his immense brainpower for good. His potential attracts some powerful enemies, however.

Throughout the book, Robert grapples with his identity. Where does his intelligence come from? How can be find acceptance when everyone usually has a motive to be in his presence? Why are people seeking him out for their own ends? This deeply fascinating book seeks the answers to these questions.

Although I enjoyed this book, there were some minor missteps. I noticed a few grammatical errors that could be fixed with a quick glance. I enjoyed the characters, but I felt some characters had little development or too much emphasis was placed on descriptions over conversations to reveal their motives and personalities. Overall, however, this was an immensely readable book.

Wow, what a book! After reading this my mind is still racing with the issues that are brought up, corruption and lies that are so riddled throughout our society, there’s a lot to process.

This is one of those thrillers that’s just written perfectly, the world that’s created seems so very realistic and I had to keep reminding myself that the story isn’t actually true.

I decided to try this book out because of the big pharma, medical conspiracy topics that it tackles, a subject I am keenly interested in. If you too are interested in how pharmaceutical corporations can manipulate and control the general public and world events then I’d highly recommend this book.

Written in a very pragmatic, clear and detailed way, I found I easily became drawn into the story and once I was I devoured the entire novel in a very short space of time.

I love the idea of fiction with a various genres, and this book delivers a massive amount of interesting themes on science, politics, spiritual and metaphyisical ideas and all the while taking me on a thrill ride with plenty of twists and turns.
The idea that one man or any man (or woman for that matter) could create and are creating cures for some of the worlds most devastating diseases.

Its amazing to think of the possibillites where Miracle Man will go in the next book and I will eagerly wait for the next installment for Mr Leibowitz to write more about our hero.
