I’ve been doing a little reading and found there are ten classifications of Schedules for medications. Scheduling is a national classification system that controls how medicines and POISONS are made available to the public.
I've been wondering. The FDA approves chemotherapy and a host of other drugs, some of which are listed as poisons. Doing a little research, there's a quite frightening long list of horrific side effects from chemotherapy, some of which are irreversible and can be permanent. Apart from a long list of the side effects of which many of us may be aware, there may also be “permanent damage to the heart, lung, liver, kidneys or reproductive system. Some people have trouble with thinking, concentration and memory for months or years after treatment. Nervous system changes can develop after treatment. Children who have chemotherapy may develop side effects that happen months or years after treatment. These are called late effects. Cancer survivors also have a higher risk of second cancers later in life.”
I have heard stories of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer and their specialist has recommended they have surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy ... or all three. When they have been undecided or unwilling to follow that path, their specialists have told them if they do not have the treatment, they will likely die and they have "washed their hands" of them. How reassuring.
Therefore FDA's apparent warning about MMS seems rather a contradiction to me.
In addition, there are FDA approved psychotropic medications such as antipsychotics, antidepressants and anxiolytics that can cause people to suicide, become homicidal, paranoid, delusional, etc.
So what does that mean? If something is FDA approved, those side effects are condoned but if it's not FDA approved, lesser side effects are not?
I also wonder where the pharmaceutical lobbyists and "donors" figure in this? Big Pharma exerts enormous influence and pressure on governments, so I gather MMS (if it were to do what it is claimed), would be a massive threat to the pharmaceutical and medical industries. They certainly wouldn't be in favour of people healing themselves with MMS in a claimed matter of hours or days for just a handful of dollars. Nor would the doctors who get kickbacks from drug companies on the drugs they prescribe. I'm wondering therefore if there is a conflict of interest.
Nevertheless, I have not made up my mind about MMS and I will continue to research more before doing so ... and even then I may not be able to categorically decide because much of the "evidence" is anecdotal. I do know, however, that every time I've had something wrong with me, natural cures have always been more efficacious that prescribed drugs. Case in point. I had quite severe joint pains and went to the doctor concerned about the possibility of rheumatoid arthritis or the like. I was prescribed anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications. I know anti-inflammatories (prescribed or over the counter) have a long list of side effects, including: stomach pain and heartburn, stomach ulcers, a tendency to bleed more, headaches and dizziness, ringing in the ears, allergic reactions including rashes, wheezing and throat swelling, liver and kidney problems, high blood pressure, leg swelling, etc. Analgesics have side effects of: constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, upset stomach, ringing in the ears, skin itching or rash and dry mouth … amongst others. I took the anti-inflammatories and analgesics short term and felt they were just masking the problem because every time I stopped, the pain came back with a vengeance. Obviously those drugs were not the answer.
I did some research and decided instead to try taking good old fashioned gelatin (not the cooking kind but hydrolysed beef collagen) in relatively small doses, one tablespoon a day, knowing it is claimed to help repair and build stronger joints and have other benefits. I’ve had absolutely no side effects. Not surprisingly but pleasingly, my knee and elbow pain within weeks stopped completely and I was no longer limping and had full and efficient use of both joints. A nice benefit was improved hair, skin and nails. Now THAT'S what I call a beneficial treatment. I now take gelatin regularly and my aches and pains have simply gone. I have a break occasionally and my pains have not returned. If I miss a dose when I’m taking it, there’s no ill effect. That's what I'm always looking for ... something that treats the problem and "heals" it and has other beneficial effects ... not something that is simply masking the pain and wreaking havoc on my body in the process.
I once read someone's T-shirt which said, "I take Metformin for the diabetes caused by the hydrochlorothiazide I take for high blood pressure which I got from the Ambien I take for insomnia caused by the Xanax I take for the anxiety that I got from the Wellbutrin I take for chronic fatigue which I got from the Lipitor I take because I have high cholesterol because a healthy diet and exercise with regular chiropractic care and superior nutritional supplements are just too much trouble."
I rest my case, your Honour.
