"I love Hal Elrod. He is a powerful teacher, and a man of great insight and high integrity. Reading his first book, Taking Life Head On! completely changed the way I live each day, and I've been waiting patiently for his next book. All I can say is that The Miracle Morning(tm) was definitely worth the wait. Hal gives us the blueprint for creating the success, happiness and prosperity that may be have eluded us, and he's made it so simple that anyone can turn their life around-no matter what their circumstances."

When I implemented Hal's strategies I noticed an immediate difference in my personal and professional life. The Miracle Morning(tm) will show you how to take control of your life, regardless of your past. I highly recommend it."

About the Author
Hal Elrod is on a mission to Elevate the Consciousness of Humanity, One Morning at a Time.
As the author of one of the highest rated books in the world, The Miracle Morning (with 2,300+ five-star reviews averaging 4.6 stars, which has been translated into 27 languages and is practiced daily by over 500,000 people in more than 90 countries)... he is doing exactly that!
What's incredible is that Hal literally died at age 20. His car was hit head-on by a drunk driver at 70 miles per hour, his heart stopped beating for 6 minutes, he broke 11 bones and woke up after being in a coma for 6 days to be told by his doctors that he would probably never walk again.
Not only did Hal walk, he ran a 52-mile ultra-marathon and went on to became a hall of fame business achiever, international keynote speaker, author, and grateful husband & father-all before he turned 30.
Then, in November of 2016, Hal nearly died again - his kidneys, lungs, and heart were failing, and he was diagnosed with a rare, and very aggressive form of leukemia.
After enduring the most difficult year of his life, battling cancer, Hal is now in remission and furthering his mission as the founder of The Miracle Morning book series, host of the "Achieve Your Goals" podcast, creator of the Best Year Ever [Blueprint] LIVE event, and Executive Producer of The Miracle Morning MOVIE - a documentary that reveals the morning rituals of some of the world's most successful people.
Hal is grateful to be alive and living his mission alongside his wife and their two young children in Austin, TX.

I like Tony Robbins' approach--live life with passion. Absolutely. But to think that most humans are living in mediocrity completely invalidates (not to mention judges) how others find happiness. I know people who live to fish, that being out on the water every weekend is what they live for. Some of them even make their living fishing. Are they living their lives to their full potential? Who knows? Are they happy? They say they are, so who are we to say that's a life of mediocrity?
I know a guy who lives like Hal Elrod describes--full on, all the time, super successful, incredibly rich. The guy called me the other day drunk, sobbing, completely unhinged because he is so desperately unhappy, being unable to process his father's dying and the neglect he experienced as a child. Millionaire. Living full blast. Suicidal.
What seems to be missing from Mr Elrod's treatise is a broader view of what a truly successful life includes. I am capable of a ton more than what I'm doing right now. But I've lived in the spotlight, I've made my mark in my area of military psychiatry through public speaking and published articles. But I am happier now than I ever was back then. I work quietly without fanfare, explore back roads, hike when the weather is good, visit family and friends as time allows, read new books on my occasional day off, and attend as much good theater as possible.
For me, getting up early is not so I can do all the things that will maximize my potential. It's to leisurely make a cup of coffee, sit and enjoy it while I watch the sky lighten, make the bed (maybe), and a couple of times a week, head over to my community YMCA and enjoy the fellowship of an accepting, nonjudgemental community while I do whatever my body thinks would feel good. That is joy.
Could I do more? Yep. But I have no need to. I'm intellectually stimulated every day at my job, spiritually enriched within my religious community, in the peak of health at 60 years old, despite these unpleasant 20# I have gained these past 5 years, and think I have a pretty fabulous life, especially in comparison to 80% of the rest of the planet.
Berating myself for not doing as much as I am physically, intellectually, and emotionally capable (which Mr Elrod's unwavering message would lead some to do, I think) is the opposite of living a grateful, fulfilling life. So I can't endorse this particular message, although if it's helping others find a path to enrichment, that's great. But this path is definitely not the only, or even the best, path for many of us.
BTW, I have no trouble whatsoever stating my life's purpose: to ease the suffering of whoever is near me at any given moment. Not remove their suffering. Not ease the suffering of every living soul on the planet. Just make each individual feel a little less pain, a little more hope, a little more confident, a little less scared, a little more love. Simple. And achievable. Don't need a book to figure that out.
Get up earlier! What? Yes. Just get up earlier.
By setting a personal context for us and relating it universally, Elrod pushes the right buttons to get you to drag your butt out of bed 30 to 60 minutes earlier every day and begin your new life. I strongly suggest it.
Update: A year later I am still doing the miracle morning. It has changed in pattern and duration through the year, but its significance in my life has stayed positive and meaningful.
Why the high rating from me? I am now exercising 6 days per week and enjoying it. To exercise has been on my goals list for five years and I just couldn't get back to it until I read Miracle Morning. I am also reading every morning and I learned a new technique for me that I include too.
Some of the other things I was already doing, but the read provided reinforcement and encouragement to keep doing them.
If you are into self improvement, life-long learning and actionable implementation steps, then get this book.

I personally never read "summaries" of books but in this case it made me wish I did.
