Editorial Reviews

Dr. Brian Weiss is a pioneering physician who has bravely introduced the healing power of past life memories into modern medicine. This interesting book is packed with case studies of people who have benefited enormously from Dr. Weiss’s techniques. A fascinating read by a courageous physician. (Judith Orloff, author of Second Sight)

“Before you know it, the stories in the book become magic carpets, taking you into your own forgotten landscapes where memories are lessons that can teach you how to live a more meaningful and fearless life.” (Elizabeth Lesser, author of Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow)

I have personally experienced the miraculous healing power of past life regression as taught by Dr. Brian Weiss. I AM a believer and Brian has been a great teacher and mentor in my life. (Wayne W. Dyer, Ph.D)

“Brian Weiss reminds us that: ‘We are a soul that comes with a body - not a body that comes with a soul.’ Miracles Happen helps to educate, enlighten, and show you that we are all spiritual beings with unlimited potential!” (John Holland, Spiritual Teacher & Psychic Medium)

“Filled with stories that provide evidence of how this method heals illnesses, phobias, emotional pain, and more, Miracles Happen is sure to be the comprehensive guide to the field of past life regression therapy for years to come.” (Cheryl Richardson)

From the Back Cover

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas. Yet these memories allowed her to recover from her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks in a way he'd never experienced. His skepticism eroded further when she began to channel messages from "the space between lives" and reveal truths about his dead son that she never could have known. Now a leader in the field of past-life therapy, Dr. Weiss has helped thousands connect with their past lives and experience tremendous healing. In Miracles Happen, Weiss, along with his daughter, Amy, shares these remarkable real-life stories to reveal how past-life regression holds the keys to our spiritual purpose.

The awareness that we have multiple lifetimes, separated by spiritual interludes on the other side, helps to dissolve the fear of death and bring more peace and joy into the present moment. And in Miracles Happen, personal stories, accompanied by Dr. Weiss's inspiring teachings, reveal how getting in touch with our past lives can profoundly and permanently heal mind and body. In the end, we come away inspired, renewed, and assured of the truth that we are eternal beings who are free to heal our current wounds by better understanding our past. It's a practice that helps us improve our current lives, evolve along our spiritual paths, and live each day with purpose.

This isn't the first book I've read by Brian Weiss, and if he keeps writing, it certainly won't be the last. Whether you believe in past lives or not, which I do, the fact that past life regression can cure a mountain of ills is astounding. Weiss' new book, co-written with his daughter, is a collection of stories told to him by the people who've been regressed, and cured.

Considering that reincarnation is the norm throughout most of the world's religions, and was part of Christianity until the 5th century, lends credence to its validity. What loving parent wouldn't give their child chance-after-chance to get things right, rather than condemn them to eternal punishment after one try(lifetime). The idea of only one lifetime, only makes sense if you wish to control people by fear, not by the loving God that Christians believe theirs to be.

Weiss' new book is broken up into chapters that tell stories dedicated to a particular aspect of what visiting your past lives can do for you. Chapter 1 shows us how we're all connected. Stories show how synchronicity works by having attendees to Weiss' classes sitting next to the one person who holds the key to whatever problem they might be having. It shows how a loving universe prompts certain people into our orbit to show, or tell us something important to our lives.

Chapter 2 goes into how some past live can be validated through searches on the Internet, or visiting towns with a familiarity not possible in the regressed present lifetime.

I think one of the most important aspects of past life regressions, which is discussed in Chapter 3, is how visiting a past life and reliving a trauma, can dissipate current emotional problems.

Just saw Dr. Weiss last night with his beautiful daughter Amy at the Coral Gables Congregational Church for the presentation of their new book. I had read many of his books, but seeing and listening to him is a whole different experience. This man is so inspiring and humble. His book (and conference) are just what I needed during a difficult period of my life. His words gave me hope. Life on Earth can be a truly magical experience, particularly during this period in history of so much change, humanity is little by little waking up and this world becoming a better place, thanks to the work of special people like Dr. Weiss. This book is different to his previous books in that it relates the stories sent to him by people from all around the world, how past life regression has changed their lives, how just the fact that they embrace the idea has been a pivotal change for some. It can do the same for your life and mine as well :)

It is said that being regressed to a past life can sometimes have a profound effect on the person regressed. Unfortunately, this book proves that reading about the past lives of others can sometimes be profoundly unaffecting. I read Miracles Happen: The Transformational Healing Power of Past-Life Memories twice. First, on a Kindle I borrowed to buy and read it, and then a hard copy from the library. I read the hard copy, because I wanted to make sure reading on a Kindle wasn't affecting my view of it. There was no difference. Even though the Weiss' book had many, many stories, only a very few seemed particularly interesting. Maybe I've read too many past life stories. Or maybe I'm on a different wavelength than Brian and Amy Weiss. Or maybe, where the Omega Institute stories are concerned, you had to be there to experience the happenings to fully appreciate them.

All the references to the Omega Institute bothered me a bit, but not as much as it would have in the past. Years ago, when I was more intensely interested in discovering past lives, I would have been miffed about all the testimonies from people who discovered their past lives at workshops that cost hundreds of dollars, or on cruises that cost thousands. In fact, I think I even clobbered Dr. Weiss in a past book review about that matter. My miffiness was not rooted in envy of those with more opportunities or money, but in the idea that spiritual discoveries seemed to have a price tag. Also, Dr. Weiss' past life CD did nothing to help me discover any past lives. It just put me to sleep.

I was originally introduced to Past Life Regression Therapy by reading Dr. Brian Weiss' first book "Many Lives, Many Masters." Some time later through the course of my education I had the opportunity to learn directly from Dr. Weiss his techniques and method to this powerfully healing modality. I went on to open my own practice as a Past Life Regression Therapist and for years have seen first hand the miraculous transformational effect that not only PLRT but more specifically Dr. Weiss' approach and techniques have had on my clients.

I studied under several other "leaders" in this field and other areas of consciousness exploration and have experienced time and time again using Weiss' non-suggestive approach to allowing the client to connect with what is coming through for them in the most organic way possible to be the most effective and awe inspiring. Using as little "suggestion" as possible allows for the connection and healing to be what it NEEDS to be, in spite of what we sometimes THINK it should be.

Experiencing the remembrance of a past life for many provides confirmation of our eternal existence absolving fear, phobias even grief. Actualizing Dr Weiss' techniques in my practice I see clients also release unwanted medical conditions, directly receive Divine spiritual guidance, reconnect and communicate with loved ones who have crossed over, and most importantly reconnecting to their own inner guidance improving intuitive ability and confidence.

I am honored to have contributed to "Miracles Happen" and am excited to see such a diverse compilation exemplifying not just the depth of PLRT healing potential, but the breadth as well. The accounts are honest, compelling, and the commentary made by Dr. Weiss himself contributes an even deeper understanding of the miracles being shared.
