These heroes are smart, brave, and simply Miraculous!
Marinette and Adrien appear to be just normal people with normal lives: going to school and dealing with friends, family, and growing up. But when the evil Hawk Moth threatens their beloved city of Paris, they transform into the super-powered Ladybug and Cat Noir with the help of their magical pets! As Hawk Moth transforms normal people into supervillains, the two heroes need to use all of their talents to keep the city safe. And if that wasnt enough for this super-powered pair to deal with, each of them also has a secret crush on the other. Cat Noir will do anything to impress Ladybug, and Marinette longs for Adrien. Together, their friendship, teamwork and skill will be the key to outwitting Hawk Moth and making the world a safer place.

I just love all the close calls and I long for the day when they find out about each other. Considering the fact that we can't watch any new episodes for whatever reason, I may never see that day. The few nitpicking things I don't like are the repetitive scenes that they show in every episode and the fact that she looks exactly the same as herself and as Ladybug. They could at least change her hair style or something. Her best friend, who is a fan of Ladybug, didn't even figure it out. So, I looked past those nitpicking things and binged the entire season fairly quickly and then I regretted not savoring it more slowly. I purchased this complete season one and binged it all over again. I'm sure its a show I will watch again and again over the years, so I'm glad to now own it on DVD.
I've rated 4 stars because the set could be better:
1. It's DVD only, no blu ray available, even though the show is clearly made in HD (I originally watched it on Netflix)
2. No extras worth mentioning, really. There's a lot they could have done there and didn't.
3. The inside box arrived slightly broken, as one of the pieces of the lower hinge was snapped off, so the part holding the discs doesn't stay in place.
Pretty good quality too, the photo attached is a screencap from one of the disks
