About the Author
Gary A. David has been an independent researcher of Southwestern archaeological ruins and rock art for over twenty-five years. His books about the Hopi and other ancestral Pueblo cultures of Arizona and New Mexico include: The Orion Zone (2006), Eye of the Phoenix (2008), The Kivas of Heaven (2010), and Star Shrines and Earthworks of the Desert Southwest (2012). These are all available from www.theorionzone.com, www.adventuresunlimitedpress.com, www.amazon.com, and www.barnesandnoble.com. Mr. David earned a master’s degree from the University of Colorado and is a former college professor. He is also a poet, with numerous volumes published. His articles or interviews have appeared in many magazines, including Ancient American, Atlantis Rising, Fate, Fenix (Italy), Erich von Däniken’s Sagenhafte Zeiten (Switzerland), UFO, and World Explorer, as well as in anthologies such as The Disinformation Guide to Ancient Civilizations, Lost Knowledge of the Ancients, and Mysteries of the Ancient Past—the latter two being Graham Hancock Readers. Gary continues to speak at conferences, including Ancient Mysteries International (AMI) Conference for Precession and Ancient Knowledge (CPAK), and many branches of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He also gives international radio interviews, such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, Dreamland with Whitley Strieber, Jeff Rense, Paracast and many others. He has appeared on the History Channel’s series “Ancient Aliens,” “Brad Meltzer’s Decoded,” and “Countdown to Apocalypse." His work has also been featured on both Japanese and Russian television programs. Gary, his wife, and an aging cat live together in rural northern Arizona, where the skies are still relatively pristine.
