For perspective, my previous Android Wear was a 1st Gen Moto 360, which I loved, but since it will never get Wear 2.0, it was time to move on.
Design: Uber minimalism is the first thing that comes to mind. It's basically a around slab of aluminum and glass, with a color matched button. If you like minimalism, you really really can't get more minimalist than this. This design is so minimal, it's almost nihilist. Included band is color matched silicone with a color matched clasp. I told you, it's really damn minimalist. I'm sure the other colors have a bit more flair than the black one, but black goes with everything, so I'll stick with it. It does take standard 20mm bands though, so you can jazz it up if you feel like being oh so pretty.
Performance and features: After comparing it to other Wear 2.0 watches in store, it appears to be just as fast as all the others, so no worries there. It does come with some custom designed misfit watch faces, but all brands make their own custom faces, so that's not so strange. The faces are helpful, and are centered on the misfit health software, which does sync with Google fit. Plus to that. As with any Android Wear watch, you can install any damn face or app you want from the play store. The interface is basically "stock Android Wear 2.0" with the exception of the custom misfit faces, some of which do support complications, and just about all elements on those faces are customizable, so you should be able to get it to look and function how you want.
No NFC, and GPS is assisted, so you need your phone with you while you use GPS. But really, this thing is MSRP $199, so I personally, am ok with that. It's also much slimmer than other watches, but it's still a smartwatch, so it's still thicker than most traditional watches. Now, I can't say for sure since I didn't design this thing, but I imagine that the high degree of water resistance this thing has, has something to do with the lack of GPS and NFC. Maybe not enough room for it all in a body this small? Again, I don't work for Misfit, so I dunno!
Water resistance is out of this world for a Smart watch. Seriously, is there another Android Wear watch with 5ATM water resistance? Sure, there are plenty of regular watches and maybe even hybrid smart watches with that, but the last time I checked, there is no full smart watch out there with that level of water resistance. If you live in the ocean, this is the watch for you. No speaker, and that makes sense with 50 foot water resistance. That's fine, because you can pair Bluetooth headphones with it for music playback, which you can do offline if you download music to it first.
Heart rate sensor appears to be accurate and is fast, and since it's from a fitness centric company, the measuring is automatic, and even increases in frequency during workouts. Cool!
Display is wonderful, no flat tire, auto brightness, and excellent outdoor visibility, even in the cornea searing brightness of the southern sun. Very crisp and clear, I dunno the PPI, but it's really clear, so that's all that matters. Pixel peeping difficult to do on a tiny smart watch screen, and frankly, a waste of eye strain. Touch bezel for unobstructed navigation is neat, and works for both lefties and righties. Thanks for thinking about all of us Misfit!
Battery life: based on it's current drain, probably a nightly charge. Maybe 2 days with light use. Now hold on, don't get in a huff. This thing is thin, and remember, 5ATM water resistance. That kind of water resistance almost certainly has to take up some considerable space. And honestly, 1-2 is still the average for full on smart watches, even the super expensive ones. Yeah yeah, some have more, but they're also twice the price, and twice the thickness.
Did I miss anything? Probably. But overall, I'd say it's a wonderful watch at $200, and and and a damn steal at the current Amazon discounted price. If you need a Wear 2.0 watch that won't break the bank, and look really good doing it, this is the one.
If you were thinking about getting that ticwatch, think twice. Check fakespot. It got an F rating. Also people on Reddit have said that the ticwatch is like a McDonald's toy, and not worth even half it's asking price.
Sorry about that, but I had to mention it since their prices are so close with this discount, I'd imagine that some of you were at least considering it. Really, don't get the ticwatch. Read the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews on it. They're the only ones written by real people.
If you want a great inexpensive full Android Wear watch, then get this one. I'd have even got it at full MSRP, but I'm glad Amazon discounted it!
The battery won't last the work day if you have google assistant hotword detection.
The charger is a JOKE. Tiny piece of plastic that has little magnetic grip to the phone which allows it to stop charging.
Laggy. Have to disable assistant hotword detection, misift activity just to have ok experience.
Touch screen is not very responsive.
The charger is the worst. It doesn't use a usb charger. Instead it comes in the form of a circular plate with magnetic dots that connect to the watch face. Good luck getting the charging stand to stay put though.
Update: i ordered the watch in march. As of August I had to order a replacement charger because mine stopped working. Also, during the span of 30 minutes, i had to keep resetting my watch during zumba. The screen kept going blank and the watch froze. Kept having to hard restart it. Now i can't get the darn thing to turn on again or charge.

The replacement box was completely sealed and brand new.
About the Watch:
First of all, Misfit is a sub-brand of Fossil. Even this is manufactured my Fossil.
The build quality is awesome and the body is made up of metal...with brushed texture finish......the watch has a 44mm Amoled Touch screen which is bright enough..... brightness levels ranges from 1-5 and also has Auto brightness option. I used it at brightness level 2. This watch runs on Wear OS By Google. You can receive notifications with this watch, i.e., you can view and reply to whatsapp messages, accept or reject calls, sms and Facebook notifications and lot more. This watch has a mic but no speaker. I always connect my phone with the watch and my Bluetooth headset which enables me to take calls from my wrist. Battery life is average.....it lasts a day. This one also has the "Always on Display" which I don't use..... using it decreases the battery life slightly. The watch comes with a few preloaded watch faces but you can download hundreds of other watch faces from PlayStore. It doesn't have stand alone GPS, it uses the GPS of your phone while it's connected via Bluetooth. It also has WiFi. Performance is snappy and haven't noticed any lags till now. I have the black coloured one...... bought it for ₹7990.
To conclude, i would say that it's a pretty good product at this price point and this is the cheapest Wear OS smartwatch that you can get in the market. Flipkart sells this product at around INR 14k.
It's battery life is too small
In one hour it goes down from 60 persantage to 1 percentage
