Dayna Monteagudo Rodríguez nació en Puerto Rico y criada en el Bronx, New York. Asistió a la Universidad de Puerto Rico, en Río Piedras, donde recibió un Bachillerato en Trabajo Social. Se desempeñó como Trabajadora Social por más de 18 años para diferentes organizaciones sin fines de lucro y agencias como el Departamento de Justicia, Oficina de Violencia Contra la Mujer (OVW), Departamento de la Familia y Niños y el Departamento de Salud-ASSMCA con el programa de Drug Court. Como Trabajadora social, ayudó a numerosas mujeres brindando servicios de asesoramiento, apoyo, planificación de seguridad y mediante la búsqueda de vivienda transitoria para ellas. En 2016, Dayna y su esposo decidieron mudar a su familia de Puerto Rico a Orlando, Florida. Obtuvo un puesto como Directora Escolar en una academia cristiana privada. Felizmente casada por 21 años y tiene dos preciosos hijos. La Sra. Monteagudo, o Mrs. "M", como la llamarían sus alumnos, declara que su mayor pasión es su familia y su deseo de servir; ver cómo cada individuo desarrolla su máximo potencial, y cómo las familias son restauradas.

Dayna Monteagudo Rodríguez was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, New York. She attended the University of Puerto Rico, in Río Piedras, where he received a Bachelor of Social Work. She worked as a Social Worker for more than 18 years for different non-profit organizations and agencies such as the Department of Justice, Office of Violence against Women (OVW), Department of Family and Children and the Department of Health-ASSMCA with the Drug Court program. As a Social Worker, she helped many women by providing counseling, support, safety planning, and finding transitional housing for them. In 2016 Dayna and her husband decided to move their family from Puerto Rico to Orlando, Florida. She obtained a position as School Director at a private Christian academy. Happily married for 21 years and has two beautiful children. Mrs. Monteagudo, or Mrs. "M", as her students would call her, declares that her greatest passion is her family and her desire to serve; See how each individual develops their full potential, and how families are restored.

Ese libro vino para mi como anillo al dedo!
Yo no soy mucho de leer! Yo me obligo. El título me tiene q llamar la atención porque pongo cualquier excusa para no leer!
Pero desde que me llego el email con el anuncio de lo que venía, el tema me habló!
Le hablo a “Misma” esa que tanto he dejado a un lado y aveces; no me he atrevido a escuchar.
Voy por el 3 er capítulo porque cada uno los leo una y otra vez. Tengo que leerlo para mi y para misma so, con una vez no me basta!
