My only complaint is that I just can't figure out how this works....
I had been buying disposable make-up removing cloths... every brand, every price, and I felt like Goldilocks.
This one is too, oily, dry, scratchy, irritating, stinky, or just plain old ineffective. Being a mascara and liquid eyeliner user, my biggest pet peeve was when the ingredients would leave my vision blurry due to the residue. So then I'd go back to the washcloth with a cleanser...making a mess in the bathroom, splashing suds and water all over the place like a drunk raccoon...
Then I saw a YouTube review for this cloth and decided to give it a whirl.
It.solved. all. my. problems.
Make up comes off cleanly! No cloudy vision! No messy bathroom! AND... I'm not spending $5-$10 a month in wipes I'm going to throw away. You're welcome mother nature!
I rinse it with hot water after I'm done using it and hang it over the shower rod to dry. I find I can do this for about a week, then wash with my other towels, no fabric softener! It comes out perfectly clean and ready for another week of abuse.
If I do have a heavy make-up week where it is getting dirty prior to laundry day I simply hand wash with cleaner made for washing make-up brushes (Johnson's baby shampoo if I'm feeling cheap).
I will, and have, recommended this product to friends and family.
O.M.G... I love this!!!! This amazing price is half of what some others sell for and I am sure it works just as great! This will definitely save you money in the long run and who doesn't love that!!! I put on real heavy makeup... the works.... just to see how well this works and it took all of it off!!! I did have a little trouble with my waterproof mascara but it eventually came off!! This is wonders in a cloth!!
It's easy to care for as well! Just throw in the wash and let it dry.. I live in Hawaii so there is a lot of sunshine here so I'm not sure how it is with driers. *disclosure - I did receive the item(s) above for either a deeply discounted price or free. Yup, this item is as good as they say. This has been a real time saver--instead of using irritating eye makeup remover before/after my shower, I'm able to get all my eye makeup off in the shower with this tool! I ALWAYS found that the next day I would wake up with raccoon eyes and sometimes even have difficulty with mascara because my lashes weren't perfectly clean. This cloth eliminated those issues almost entirely. It's not ONE swipe and it's gone (ala' Mulan) but it's not irritating to use, and only take a few passes until my eye makeup is gone. One caveat is that I don't LOVE using it all over my face because I feel like I just wiped my eye makeup all over it? You're supposed to use both sides so that probably means it isn't an issue but it bothers me a bit. Also, make sure to squeeze all the excess water out from the towel after use so that it stays nice and fresh. I've washed it once and it came out looking almost as good as new, and worked perfectly. It's not a miracle product but it works very well and has saved me a lot of unnecessary effort.
So I was looking for a better way to remove my makeup because regular makeup remover wipes irritated my face. I stumbled upon this after hearing a youtuber I watch talk about them. It wasn't this specific brand she was talking about but this was cheaper so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to test it out with more makeup then I usually would wear, with thicker brows, bright lipstick, and false eyelashes. To my surprise, with just warm water it was able to take of ALL my makeup, except for some eyelash glue. But of course just like makeup remover wipes, wash your face with a cleanser after to ensure all your makeup is off and continue with your routine as usual. To clean the wipe, I just use some baby shampoo and rub the cloth together under some water until clean. Will repurchase. P.S. - I was NOT paid for this review like many others
I bought this because I liked the idea of having a makeup removing cloth instead of going through wipes or cotton balls daily.
This works so well. It removes my water-proof mascara better than a lot of the other makeup remover products I've purchased. I hang it up to dry overnight and it's ready to use again the next day. It is so soft! I'm glad it's holding up so well. I'll probably buy one in the future for my mom as well.
Works just like it says it will! And cheaper than the big name brand alternative. All my makeup came off with the exception of a little of the waterproof eye makeup that I was wearing which since its waterproof I wouldn't expect it to. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it came with no instructions whatsoever. I already knew what to do so it wasn't a problem but instructions would be instructions and care advice would be nice.
I've used this product for a year now. What I should have done was to test it by using makeup remover after wiping my face with this. Instead, I waited until about 8 months went by. While this product gets off most of my makeup, it does not get all. I really wanted this to work because of its price and eco-friendliness, but I've started using micellar water after the cloth, and more product always comes off. That's with a drugstore foundation without any setting spray. I can't say for sure if it's the fact that this product is a year old or if it was never that effective. I'll still use it to save on makeup remover, but a bit disappointing.
Bought two of these, one for my teen daughter who always wants makeup remover pads purchased for her since she wears a ton of eye make up, and one for myself. These work great! Added some warm water and took off two days worth of mascara (oops) and I was done in 2 minutes with my face feeling squeaky clean and refreshed! I have already recommended to other family members who I know use a bunch of harsh chemicals to remove their makeup.
