What a fun and light romantic comedy, and I so enjoyed the sisters' interactions. The main characters, Andy (Drea) and Blake, spend a lot of time inside their heads as they stumble on the path to true love, but the path provides lots of laughs and no tears (you may get a "massive love boner" like Andy's)...perfect for a summer vacation read. The excerpt from the sequel shows promise for an even better story about Andy's sister, Lacy. Looking forward to it.

I loved this story! I couldn't put it down! Everything from the characters and plot to the twists and complete misunderstandings make it perfect! Honestly, my only complaint is about the cover (Andy is not properly presented on the cover), which should say something.

Andy was my favorite character! I could completely relate to her. From the emotional responses to the internal thought processes, I was there with her the entire time.
Blake was a great lead guy. He's got all of the male stuff like ego and carelessness in relationships but then he is also sensitive and lovable. I loved that he retained some mystery until the end but you still get to know him.
Between the two of them, the romance was fantastic. The snarky banter and the clear truths were beautifully written and very real. There were some hot scenes too, but just enough to enhance the story and not so many that it was just smut. It had me laughing and my heartbreaking for them.
The storyline was almost entirely character based, with very little happening outside of their relationship, whether as a boss and employee or boyfriend and girlfriend. Everything else was situational and not significant overall. That said Andy's sister Lacy was fantastic and I can't wait to read her story.
Overall, a wonderful book that I will definitely be reading again. I would recommend it to anyone who loves romcoms because that is exactly what it is, in book form.

There are so many things I loved about this book. Blake and Andy knew how to push each others buttons and antagonize each other. The chemistry between these two was fantastic. I loved that this was dual POV because both Blake and Andy had such funny thoughts and I loved the banter between these characters. Andy was a strong heroine and I love that she stood up to Blake and wasn't intimidated by him. This was a really sweet and sexy romance and I loved it!

Wow...what a good book!! I felt my emotions go up and down as Drea's did!! From laughing when she did, to wanting to throw my own shoe at someone...her character was easy to identify with. All of the characters were easy to relate to and made me want them to all have HEA ending. The story kept my interest the whole time and I couldn't put it down until it was done (even if meant spending some time reading instead of working)!! Great book ladies!! :)

So what happens when a successful IT-executive owner takes up on ad for an assistant that is required to help him narrow down the search for his "ideal wife"? You would think an attractive and powerful man wouldn't need to take up an ad to help him but as it turns out Blake Donovan needed Andrea Dawson to play matchmaker. So begins the hunt for the perfect wife?

"He never tell her the real truth-that she intrigued him and beguiled him and he couldn't imagine letting her walk out the door, never to be seen again."

Miss Match by Laurelin McGee was a witty, entertaining, and funny read filled with lots of banter, passion, and a quirky romantic-comedy tale of finding the right match in today's modern world of dating. Blake Donovan is not your everyday millionaire bachelor, he's attractive and successful but he's also arrogant, pompous, and domineering. When Blake tells Andrea Dawson what his requirements are for in a wife, he listed out to her that he's looking for someone that is quiet, attractive, and who will be satisfied being a homemaker to fulfill his needs and wants. Basically, he is in search of a submissive wife and Miss Matchmaker, Andrea will help him find the one. So can Andrea find his match? Or will she finding herself to be the perfect match for Blake Donovan?

I did enjoy this book though I might say that I loved Andrea's character more than Blake's. Personally, I thought the authors did an excellent job showcasing how strong, funny, and charming Andrea is but felt Blake's character needed to be explored more especially with his past. I think if the authors allowed readers to understand Blake's past and why he acts the way he does, will allow readers to see more sides to his character.

Okay so the blurb had my interest piqued, the first page had me drawn in… who advertises for a personal assistant to find them a wife…crazy right?!?!! Well it definitely was. I loved that we got dual POV as well; so you knew what each person was thinking, but let me tell you that didn’t make this any less frustrating.
Blake was an uptight ass on the surface but also an undercover pinball nerd. He was more worried about how he and his potential wife-to-be would be portrayed on the outside to the business world then actually finding someone to really fall in love with. Like this dude had a list of what the perfect woman for him should be. He is too busy to look for a woman and get to know her he’d rather leave that up to someone else and he just show up for the dates.
Andrea was a bit difficult for me to like at first, not because she was whiney or b**chy but because she was so darn confusing. For someone who was in desperate need of work and had such a hard time finding a job, she was flat-out refusing to work for this guy because she thought it was ridiculous. Let me tell you what, if some rich hot guy was willing to pay me and obscene salary to find him a wife…then slap my a$$ and call me Patti Stanger because I’m about to be a match-making fool. I also didn’t understand her “profiling skills” if she was such a great profiler then wouldn’t she have been able to pick up on Blake’s BS? I don’t know I just didn’t get that part about her. I also wish it would’ve went more into the thing about her and her former boss.
Overall the book was good. I loved their banter back and forth and the constant denial of what they were feeling for each other. But that is also what makes it so frustrating to read!! Your all like “HOOK UP ALREADY” or ” NOOOOO” because there are so many times when words and actions are misunderstood. So for this newbie I am giving it 4 stars. I really like this author and the way she writes.
