Another feature that I like about it is that the numbers go up to twelve. So many counting books end at ten; this is a welcome change. The only negative thing I can come up with is that it is sometimes a bit challenging to find the identified number of things listed in the illustration, but I think that will be part of the fun for my son as he gets a bit older.
I do not recommend this version. The original has the numbers in it as well.

LOVE this book! My daughter is obsessed with bugs and counting. It also tells a cute important story of acceptance. We love all the Miss Spider books.Published 4 months ago by Jessica
My toddler classroom loves this book. In fact, they completely destroyed our last copy because we read it so often. Came in very good condition as stated. Read morePublished 7 months ago by beth
This book arrived later than expected! But, when it did arrive I realized I had paid $25 for a used, dirty and frayed book for my grandaughter's first birthday! Very disappointed!Published 13 months ago by Julie Lancaster

It was stated as in good condition, when actually it was in poor, as the binding was bad. I used heavy duty tape to hold it together.Published 23 months ago by fay akers
The illustrations are fantastic, as is the rhyming cadence. My sons memorized this book as toddlers. It is one of my go-to baby gifts for friends and family.Published on September 15, 2013 by sqallen
