Definitely 5 stars from me for The Missing Children and I'm really looking forward to reading the second book in the trilogy! This is definitely a book I'm going to be recommending!! - Donna Maguire
I don't know how Mel Comley has the time and imagination to come up with her wonderful ideas but I'm thrilled that her books just keep on coming! And I'm especially delighted to report that this new series featuring DI Kayli Bright shows a much darker side to the authors writing, she doesn't shy away from showing the realistically gritty and tough world that we live in. - Jo Robertson top 500 reviewer.
I read this book in less than 24hours and found myself completely engrossed in it, yet again brilliant writing by the author. It's never hard to say that you feel this is MA Comley's best book but believe me, this truly is her best. - Julie Simon
There are a lot of suspects to sort through, lies and secrets to dig through. The suspense starts at the very first page and just doesn't let up. - Linda Strong
All who love suspenseful thrillers need to read this book, as long as you can keep your own emotions in check while you read, for I was sobbing through some things myself. A great story handled realistically with a wonderful team of police officers. - Kath Defranc
New series and new characters and as usual the author gets them bang on. Delicate subject but it's covered really well. - Craig Gillan
A gruesome opening to this book but don't be put off, the subject of missing children is handled sensitively with not too much graphic detail. One of the reasons I love the books by this author is the background information she puts in making it easy to imagine the characters and relationships within the team. - Annette
As with all M.A. Comley's work, the pages fly by. There's no fluff, no padding in her stories. They are as long as they need to be to get from the beginning to the end and no longer. I really like that because it gives them a pace that, if weighed down with huge amounts of description, would be lost. - Tracie Delaney - author of the Winning Ace series.
Seems wrong to say it's a brilliant read but it is and I can't recommend it highly enough. Love the characters, Kayli and the team, very real and believable. Huge 5 stars. - Audrey Gibson
A well written book which had me completely engrossed from the start. - Susan Hunter
This is an explosive start to a series by an amazing author. As always the characters are completely amazing . The story is very hard hitting but still you won't be able to put it down. I cannot wait for more to come from these characters - Sarah
Great start to a new trilogy by Mel Comley. Gripping, fast-paced with twists and turns throughout. - Relax and Read Reviews.
I actually felt like I was working alongside Kayli and her team. Not that I think she would ever have me part of it as I for one didn't see the twists and turns coming until they hit me full on. I love how the author never fails to shock or surprise me and boy did she keep them coming in this one. - By the letter book reviews. - top 1000 reviewer.

Again a page turner that has you wondering what will happen next, you can't put it down. Looking so forward to the books to follow. - Michele Burns
Mel has the knack of making a book an experience. DI Kayli Bright and her partner DS Dave Chaplin discover child remains , all the children's parents and family members are now suspects. This is a difficult subject to write about but as usual Mel does it with great aplomb. 5* - T. Elder
Omg. A absolutely fantastic read with great characters. Really had me guessing. I had my suspicions but I got it wrong. Very cleverly written. 5*. - Susan Wallace
New trilogy with new characters that I get to see from the ground up. Simply amazing and this book will stay with me for a long time. - Sean Talbot
M A Comley has excelled herself in dealing with the difficult subject of missing and murdered children in a sensitive but non-sensational manner. - Maria Lee
Even in the first book of a series it took no time at all to feel like I knew the detectives in this, at times, harrowing read. The subject of abducted children can be a very difficult one to read but this is written with compassion and great care. - Sarah.
Child abuse is a hard subject to tackle, but one that needs to be done. Mel has done it beautifully. - Debra Feldman
You can tell by reading the book that the subject of Missing Children has been very well researched before pen was put to paper. - Dee Williams.
Although some parts where tough on the emotions I just wanted to carry on reading as the book was to good to put down, I needed to see the end result for the brand new detective and her team so I devoured it in two sittings. - Kayli Beech
