Missing Royal was not a very good read. Once I found out what was happening I mistakenly thought that this would be the first part of the story (since it was book 1). I didn't realize they would find all the missing royals and defeat the evil villain all in not very much time. It would have worked better had the story been developed more, was longer, took more time so you can really get into it.

Shanice has grown up in our world, but she never really seemed to fit in. She hears voices sometimes and her classmates think she is crazy. She only really has one friend and that is Valentino who works where she gets riding lessons. She has had a crush on him forever, and now, as it is getting closer to her birthday it seems like he might like her too. Only he never really does anything about it. Then on her birthday her world turns upside down. She finds out she is not from our world, but another. She is a princess and she must return to find the other missing royals and take down the evil princess set on destroying everything.

Up until this point I was excited to be reading this story. I couldn't wait to see what this other world was like and go on these fun adventures. Only that never really happens. What is her real world like? Not sure. I know a few place names, know of a few mythical/magical creatures that live there, but I don't feel like I know much about the world. Here she is placed in this world where she doesn't know the customs and ways and it felt like such a huge missed opportunity. I wanted to learn about this place. This story needed some world building so when Shanice is off trying to save the world I am more engaged. Instead it was like where are they going? Wait how did they get here so quickly? I thought this was farther away...I don't know.

I absolutely loved Missing Royal. It is a perfect combination of different worlds and romance for the YA category, although it is a definite great read for someone of any age. The characters and storyline were fantastic and Missing Royal was a great read.

The characters were fun to decipher and learn more about. I really liked Shanice and Valentino, as well as Javier. I loved the chemistry between them, and can't wait to see where things go in the next books.

I loved the fantasy aspect of the book. With the dragons, princes and princesses as well as all of the other unheard of creatures in this story, it really gives it a fun aspect and makes you want to keep reading to find out more.

*The only thing I didn't quite like was the amount of crying the characters did, as well as how fast the story was going. I felt that some scenes could have been explained in greater detail.

The storyline of Missing Royal was fantastic. Konstanz did a really good job at making the book a nice fast-paced read, and kept you interested throughout the entire story. I am excited for the next book! I have to give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Very interesting characters, very well build new world the main character comes into.
Had a bit of problems with typing errors and missing words, but all in all it is very well possible to read the book and follow the line of the story.
Love dragons and magic in stories so that was a very big plus. Felt very annoyed with the prince lots of times, but guess that's a man's point of view...
In conclusion, if you love magic with a bit of romance and some adventure, this would be the ideal book for you. 4.5 stars from me!
And to be honest, I bought me the paperback version of this book too ;-)

I was fortunate enough to get an ARC in exchange for a review and was hooked from the beginning! I loved it so much I got it when it came out! The characters make you love them from the start and you never know what they are going to do. I found myself rereading it and loving it again like it was the first time. I recommend this book to everyone and can't wait for the second one! Go and read it...NOW!

Shanice is thrown from her everyday life of attending high school and being bullied into a world where she is royalty and must find the other royals to defeat Medina, the witch who is destroying Avonthia's kingdoms.
Shanice was sent away to protect her until her 17th birthday when she must return to her destiny. She meets dragons, fairies, pixies and Mymees, who all pledge to help her along with the other royals she can find.
Absolutely loved this book

I Love this lady's style! The world she created in this book is stunning. It really was difficult to put it down. (Who needs sleep or work, right?) Shanice is an outcast, bullied throughout school for being different. She hears a voice calling to her, telling her to come home. Only she has no idea who is calling her or why. The only joy in her life are the ridding lessons her parents have set up for her, and her only friend and ridding instructor, Valentino. Her parents have given her fencing lessons, archery, and riding lessons, never realizing they served a purpose. Then on her 17th birthday, her parents drop a bomb on her. She's a princess from
another world.
The characters were great! I loved how I felt one way about a character from their first impression and either that impression was backed up or changed completely the more I read the book. The characters are very realistic and far from being shallow and flat.
This book has it all, magic, adventure, dragons and royalty.
If you haven't read any of her work, you have to, this book will blow you away! I can't wait for the next in this series!
