Shanice has grown up in our world, but she never really seemed to fit in. She hears voices sometimes and her classmates think she is crazy. She only really has one friend and that is Valentino who works where she gets riding lessons. She has had a crush on him forever, and now, as it is getting closer to her birthday it seems like he might like her too. Only he never really does anything about it. Then on her birthday her world turns upside down. She finds out she is not from our world, but another. She is a princess and she must return to find the other missing royals and take down the evil princess set on destroying everything.
Up until this point I was excited to be reading this story. I couldn't wait to see what this other world was like and go on these fun adventures. Only that never really happens. What is her real world like? Not sure. I know a few place names, know of a few mythical/magical creatures that live there, but I don't feel like I know much about the world. Here she is placed in this world where she doesn't know the customs and ways and it felt like such a huge missed opportunity. I wanted to learn about this place. This story needed some world building so when Shanice is off trying to save the world I am more engaged. Instead it was like where are they going? Wait how did they get here so quickly? I thought this was farther away...I don't know.Read more ›
The characters were fun to decipher and learn more about. I really liked Shanice and Valentino, as well as Javier. I loved the chemistry between them, and can't wait to see where things go in the next books.
I loved the fantasy aspect of the book. With the dragons, princes and princesses as well as all of the other unheard of creatures in this story, it really gives it a fun aspect and makes you want to keep reading to find out more.
*The only thing I didn't quite like was the amount of crying the characters did, as well as how fast the story was going. I felt that some scenes could have been explained in greater detail.
The storyline of Missing Royal was fantastic. Konstanz did a really good job at making the book a nice fast-paced read, and kept you interested throughout the entire story. I am excited for the next book! I have to give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Had a bit of problems with typing errors and missing words, but all in all it is very well possible to read the book and follow the line of the story.
Love dragons and magic in stories so that was a very big plus. Felt very annoyed with the prince lots of times, but guess that's a man's point of view...
In conclusion, if you love magic with a bit of romance and some adventure, this would be the ideal book for you. 4.5 stars from me!
And to be honest, I bought me the paperback version of this book too ;-)
Shanice was sent away to protect her until her 17th birthday when she must return to her destiny. She meets dragons, fairies, pixies and Mymees, who all pledge to help her along with the other royals she can find.
Absolutely loved this book
The characters were great! I loved how I felt one way about a character from their first impression and either that impression was backed up or changed completely the more I read the book. The characters are very realistic and far from being shallow and flat.
This book has it all, magic, adventure, dragons and royalty.
If you haven't read any of her work, you have to, this book will blow you away! I can't wait for the next in this series!

A great story, just not well written. It needed more depth for me to be truly caught completely. The characters were not very deep and the story fell short. Read morePublished 11 months ago by tlynfer
