This one was guaranteed so I tried it on a 5 week old cat urine stain. I used it per the directions, and the kind guidance they gave me. However, it did absolutely nothing. I purchased another product, and it worked. Sorry to say this is one I would not waste the money on. They gladly refunded my money, and I respect a company who follows through on a guarantee.
When it rains, and I live in a rainy city, my doggos get sneaky about taking a doodah indoors. They sneak behind the couch while I'm watching TV, they sneak under the laundry room sink to drop one or four, they drop several ninja-style on the stair landing in the dark that blows-out the whole entry way and upstairs. And then there's the dog that does the sly sneak-a-pee on the carpet, waiting for me until its cold and wet for my barefeet to squish into--usually when I'm about to sit down with a nice snack to watch TV. So I bought this product for its safe enzymes and natural bacteria eat-poop skills and to wipe out that stinky dog whizz on the carpet odor days after it happens. I poured it full concentrate onto my shaggy carpet that got hit by a few sneaky dog poops and several whizz spots. It is very strong citrus scent that filled my room with cathedral ceilings for a few days. You don't need to use much and the smell isn't unpleasant, its just strong, so if you are sensitive to strong odors do not use more than a quarter size. I can say this product worked! No more living zoo odor in my living room. I have bought a similar product from a national carpet cleaning company and it works just as well as that one does, but in a gallon size instead of small 16 fl. oz size. I recommend having this in your cleaning closet.
This stuff is kind of a miracle. One of our cats was having some issues and peeing around the basement. I tried a few methods of cleaning but nothing seemed to really get the smell. Cat urine is some powerful stuff... My vet recommended Anti-Icky Poo and I can't thank her enough. It's extremely easy to use (you literally just pour it on the stain and let the enzymes do their work) and you get a big bottle that lasts a long time depending on how much you need to clean. I've poured it in the toilet to get rid of smells, mixed some into the mop bucket while cleaning, and poured it in my kitchen drains and it worked like a charm in every instance. It also gets a million extra points from me because it's not going to poison any of us and doesn't have that overwhelming chemical smell that so many cleaning products do.
This stuff does work. It is an odor remover and not for stain removal. The best scenario is to find the stain immediately, clean it with a cleanser then apply this. On dried stains, this works best if you apply it liberally (deeply) and cover with plastic to slow the evaporation (over night), do this more than once if needed. I was going to buy more but the price is outrageous. I thought it was always on the expensive side but it has gone up considerably since I purchased it last (in bulk). I am now trying Odo Ban Bio Odor Digester (not the disinfectant but their BIO line (enzymes are the key)). It looks exactly like this stuff in consistency (milky white, minimal suds) just has a different smell and is MUCH cheaper.
I have a cat nicknamed "Mister Piddle" and you can imagine why. Some things, like bed pillows (sad, but true) we never tried to rescue. But this stuff works. My husband has a $500 leather sport coat that got "blessed" by Mr. Piddle. We did the unthinkable, put the coat into the bathroom sink and saturated the coat with about a whole jug of this stuff, then into a trash bag it went. Hubby put the bag on the back porch and forgot about it. I nagged him to take it to the cleaners. When he finally did, he had just missed the leather cleaner pickup, with the next pickup in two weeks. This coat ended up soaking in this stuff for literally weeks. I figured it was ruined and covered in mold. Well, it came back from the leather cleaners in perfect condition! I have rescued many things from Death's doors with Anti Icky Poo and think it is the greatest thing for getting rid of cat urine odors!
Its pleasant smelling. It works, but not 100% for the stains from my male cats. I hear this should be used first, then a product called 'Angry Orange' should follow up. Its sold here too. Wil try that combo.
5.0 out of 5 starsThe only product out there that works!!!!

Great product works unlike anything I have previously tried. Great mint smell follows. Nothing worse than the vinegar smell everything on internet recommends. This product is the only thing that worked to get my cat to stop urinating on the floor.
