This book reminded me a lot of an Agatha Christie novel in its styling and I liked that. Everyone had secrets they didn't wish to tell, not just one or two people. It made the suspect field very broad and I never did figure it out until it was revealed at the end!
I like the characters. Mr. Mottley and Baker have gotten under my skin and I will definitely be reading more of the series! I highly recommend this to those who enjoy Agatha Christie's style of writing. It was great!
Well Motley has done it again. He some how manages to solve the case using the most unorthodox and off methods that just seen to work for him. I enjoy how all of the clues seem to fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle with the picture hidden until the very end. The time frame of perfect as it as just the right cusp of changing technology that makes all things possible Motley makes me laugh constantly and so does Baker to be quite honest. If you enjoy historical mysteries with a touch of comedic flair this is did the series for you. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
I received an advance copy of this book in return for a voluntary honest review.
