Mr. Perfect – Ellie is the “ridiculous” girl in the office. She’s smart, funny, pretty, popular, perky, and… what does she do again? Oh, yeah. Ellie is the “celebrity concierge” at Stonewall Entertainment. She’s good at it. On most days. Just... not the day her new boss, McAllister Stonewall, shows up and catches her secretly sexting in his debut executive meeting. Hilarity ensues and, well, let the sexy-times roll.
Mr. Romantic – Ivy is the “preacher’s daughter”. She’s desperate for a job after just graduating college when a sweet opportunity comes in from the infamous Mr. Romantic. Ivy knows who he is. All the Misters are infamous from a media-frenzy college scandal some years back and everyone knows Mr. Romantic was the one who “did it”. Nolan Delaney might be deliciously hot, but he’s got a dark side lurking under that charm. And when I say dark I’m talking depraved.
Mr. Corporate – Victoria is self-made, super-competitive, and drowning in debt when she finds herself battling with her ex, Weston Conrad, for a job. She was there when the whole college scandal went down at Brown University and she always knew Weston was innocent. But there were other things happening that night. She moved on because the two of them were never going to work. But now Weston is back and somehow he brought all her old secrets with him.
Mr. Mysterious – Cindy is a girl who goes after her dream no matter what and she set her mind on her brother’s best friend, Paxton Vance, a long time ago. She does not give a crap about the best-friend’s-little-sister rule. And sure, they call him Mr. Mysterious for a reason. He’s a “Hollywood fixer”. He handles all the celebrity mistakes in LA. He’s dangerous, and moody, and probably shouldn’t be drinking whiskey for breakfast. But lucky him—she’s willing to be his partner. So what if Pax thinks she’s delusional? She’s one-hundred-percent confident that Mr. Mysterious can hold his own against her brother, Mr. Match.
Mr. Match – Katya is a girl with secrets. Is she a Russian spy? A liar? Or just a lost girl who fell in love with the wrong man? Meeting Oliver Shrike, AKA Mr. Match, four years ago changed everything. Who knew fate would intervene just when all hope was lost? But she should’ve known better. Because now Oliver’s billion-dollar dating site is the next target. The final piece of the puzzle in the Mister end game and she’s right in the middle of it. But maybe… just maybe… she can do something about this? Maybe she can save him, even if she can’t save herself.
Mr. Five – Princess Rory has been in love with Five Aston her entire life. And he’s been in love with her. They are best friends. They are childhood sweethearts. They are the definition of soul mates. Nothing can ever come between them. Except Five is over-protective. Five thinks she’s better off without him. Five thinks he’s doing her a favor by keeping her away from the secrets and scandals he’s a part of. But Rory Shrike wants her man back. And not even the genius brain of Mr. Five will stop her.
Mr. & Mrs. – Is it the wedding of the century? Or a disaster in the making? All the Misters are gathered together on Five’s island paradise for the most outrageous wedding in the history of weddings. Featuring a crazy cave adventure, swimming pigs and feral little girls, a boy who wants to be like his father, a detective looking for his sugar cookie, kittens climbing up a wedding dress, and Five. Who will need to redefine what “paradise” is, because his princess has put her foot down.

Mr Perfect-Mac&Ellie. Moves fast. I would’ve enjoyed this more if Ellie didn’t succumb to Mac so quickly. They meet one day and have sex the next. Just not credible. The writing is very good. But the ending is rushed and haphazard. It had deep philosophical moments. 3⭐️
Mr Romantic- Nolan&Ivy. Handsome, cynical playboy meets clean cut, cute virgin. Ivy’s annoying with her constant indecision, hot/cold behavior. Misunderstandings and false assumptions abound. Sex and kink happen within 24 hours...not believable. No mention of love...yet they elope. They don’t seem compatible. Brutal fantasy rape scene...uncomfortable to read, as intended. A subplot of mystery continues. Another rushed ending leaving loose threads and unanswered questions. Epilogue didn’t help. 2⭐️
Mr Corporate -Weston&Victoria. Exhausting. Two former, strong willed lovers competing for the same contract. I loved Weston but couldn’t stand immature, selfish and bitter Victoria. They bicker, fight, and argue through the whole story. They have nothing in common and aren’t compatible. The whole story was frustrating and a waste of time. It had no closure and I couldn’t wait for it to end. 0⭐️
Mr Mysterious -Pax&Cindy. Starts with promise and quickly gets into the attraction etc. It was a fun mystery with all the cute dialogue, flirting, chasing, stalking and lies. But by now I’m sick and tired of the cryptic mystery talk, and hints and innuendo about why exactly the Misters are being targeted after 10 years of silence. The questions and mystery continue on and on ad-nauseam. Even though this story was the best so far and made me laugh and it was fun, I’m beyond ready for it to be over. 4⭐️
Mr Match-Oliver&Katya. First few chapters are a chore to get through with one sex scene after another. Made me wanna skip pages. Repeat repeat repeat. A lot going on but nothing happening. Lots of filler and empty dialogue. No character descriptions. All is finally revealed and succinctly tied up quickly. Very anticlimactic. 1⭐️
Mr Five-Five&Rory. I didn’t connect with Five and Rory as a couple right away. I liked them individually, but it wasn’t until Part-2 that I really connected to them as a couple. Rory finally stands up and takes control and I screamed “You tell ‘em, honey!” This story begins when Oliver is only 12 y/o so the 5 Misters nightmare is still to come, but it’s no less superb. Lots of action and lovin’. The best part was this wasn’t centered around sex (much as I love that). There was a genuine sinister and gripping story here. 4⭐️
Mr & Mrs-This was the perfect conclusion, with all the Misters and Five reuniting on Five’s island....with all their significant others with them, preparing for their weddings. It was the perfect ending. With a time for celebration, contemplation, kids (adored Mathilda and Louise), and chaos. It ended with perfect clarity. With all the Misters facing the facts that are changing their lives. The reality of becoming parents, adjusting to new roles, admitting to fears and facing new responsibilities. Each having their individual life changing epiphanies. And it was perfect with them each realizing how much they’ve been through and how close they’ve all become. This was an excellent finish. 5⭐️
There is mystery, tons of mystery, and intrigue, and sexy times and even a good amount of funny times, especially when you reach the end and are reading Mr. and Mrs. I guarantee, after you've read all the Misters, you will pick a favorite one. I have my favorite!!
Long time readers of JA Huss will recognize some cameo appearances that they will love, and if you're a new reader, this is the perfect place to start! After you've finished, I would not be surprised at all if it makes you want to start from the very beginning and get to know the Rook and Ronin crew. They are SO worth the read!
Seriously, 99 cents for all seven Mister books? What an incredible deal!!
Mr. Perfect: He's was the 1st and my favorite. There was just something about him and his playfulness with Ellie. When things went down, he was still there for her. For him, I enjoyed everything that started the Mister series. This book pulled me into it. Butter.. That's all I got to say.. Mac is perfect ladies. In every way. When you want to not like him for whatever reason, you can't. He's just that perfect. You'd want him for yourself if you love the funny, semi romantic, I'll do anything for you type of guy. He's perfect, but ... He wasn't my favorite as I continued.
Mr. Romantic:: Nolan, at first I wasn't sure about Nolan. He seemed too good to be true. Ivy on the other hand was pure as the day she came out of the womb. Throw in the Misters past, along with Claudette, Nolan's sister from another mister, and you got one heck of a story. Believe me, this one was more exciting. Then.. Oh my, talk about a little twist to the darker side of Nolan. It wasn't bad, but he has one creative mind, aka Julie, but let me tell you, if you've read other books, this was just a sneak peak, nothing to get your panties in a bunch with. Even though Nolan could be your dark and kinky prince in this series... He beat out Perfect with his dark side for me, but that's okay.. He still never became my top Mister.
Mr. Corporate: Weston Conrad is different. In a different kind of way. Although he seems sexy, he's too career minded for my liking. That's okay for me, because West is one of a kind in my eyes. There is no one like him. He's a a great business man. He's got one hell of a secret, but he's a decent guy, or is he? Tori, lord, I want to ring thatB@#%$% neck so many times. She was just cocky, and all that. Not my favorite Mrs. In this series. I still don't care for her, but then again, Corp was probably my least favorite Mister. And again, I don't know if it was them together or what, maybe if Tori was different I'd like him more, but since she's Tori.... He's certainly not my favorite.
Mr. Mysterious: Paxton Vance is the MAN! At least in my book. Now, he's up there as one of my favorites. His personality is EVERYTHING! The way Cindy and Pax just get each other, you can't help my giggle and smile as you read their story. Yes, there is more to them than their hot sex scenes, but these two can take over the world in such a way, you want to follow their every move. Cindy, being Match's little sister, is after Pax, and when everything comes to face, the story just gets better and better. She's what Pax needs. Believe me, these two can heat up a scene with their crazy antics and sex scenes.. Isn't that right Miss Cookie? LOL
Mr. Match: Oliver Shrike. Oliver is what you call the man you fawn over. In his story, everything comes to face. You get way things are happening with their past and why everyone who has come into their lives is connected some how, way, shape or form. This whole story has so much to give you, you will be hooked on the plot like the rest of us. If you're like me, you're trying to figure out who is connected to who and why. It's a mystery to be solved. Oliver and Katya, will bring everything to face for you. Believe me. This old flame is now burning brighter, even though your heart breaks at a time when you know Katya needs everyone in her corner. Also, Ariel Shrike, although she doesn't have her own book, that C*&^(*& needs her own series, she could sell millions. She's nice, but evil, there is a dark side to her. We need it. Believe me.
Five: Five Aston is the man of the hour. This book takes you back when him and Aurora Shrike were little. This story tells you so much. I read it after The Misters, since it was part of this series box set, but honestly, it could be read at the beginning. Why? Because it will flow better. I personally didn't have a problem with it being towards the end. I thought it was perfect to me. Rory and Five are destined to be together. And while you were trying to figure things out in The Misters, Five gives you a big heads up on what to expect. The CULT of all Cults. One of my favorites.
Mr. and Mrs. : This book takes place a few years after the Misters series. Five and Rory live on a secluded island with their four girls. Each Mister is heading there for a big event. Family is welcome and of course the Paps are circling over head.
Mac and Ellie are dealing with trying to have a baby, and Ellie is just sad as all get out about not getting pregnant. It takes Mac to make this special weekend one of the best for her. That includes a date day that takes them on an adventure through a cave that will have you peeing your pants with laughter. But not as much as Nolan.
Nolan and Ivy arrive with their little daughter Bronte. She's six and Nolan is trying to figure out how to be a girl dad. He's in for a rude awakening when Five's youngest girls take Nolan for the adventure of his life, when all he wanted to do was spend a day with his wife. That never went as planned, but once you read Nolan, the laughter begins and everything is just too funny. Louise and Mathilda make his take on this story one of the best. Swimming pigs, mud and bad aim, make this hilarious.
Weston and Tori arrive with news to share, but don't because of Ellie. Ethan, their adoptive son is just like the Misters. West sees it and talks to Ethan. He's a giver and a caretaker. All these two want is for Ethan to be a kid. It takes some honest and patience from West to make that happen. Their story isn't has hilarious as it could be, but then again, Weston becomes a better man in this story and it's makes him all better. While I'm still not a Tori fan, she finally understands where West is coming from, it just takes Ethan to explain it.
Pax and Cindy. Lord, where to begin.. These two crack me up. If you liked their little role play in their own book, this is just going to get even better. Cindy takes date day to an all new level when it comes to Pax. She's got him chasing her around the island with little clues. Detective and Miss Cookie make that day one hell of an adventure when it comes to them, throw in Golden Balls, a mini dirt bike 5 sizes too small, and a man with a massive hangover because of what he did, and you have one epic story from his POV that will have you laughing your butt off.
Oliver and Kat have something to take care of. While Kat has no family left, Oliver is seeing his sister Rory for the first time in years. She was supposed to stay hidden. Ya know the whole Silver Society BS? Anyways. He was always blaming Pax for taking Cindy, when in reality, he should be mad at Five. It takes Kat to confront him about his anger towards Pax and not Five. At the end, it all works out. Crap happens to these two, but in a funny, and heartbreaking way. Don't worry, it's kinda comical.
Five and Rory: Rory is ready to live in the real world. Five wants to stay hidden. When he tries to take the opportunity away from his twins, Rory puts her foot down. She's not going to let him control everything anymore. It's time. HE does everything in his power to keep things the same, that is until all hell breaks loose.
Let me set the scene: Private Island of paradise. Five's island. Pigs, kittens, angry relatives, situations that need sorting. Guests that shouldn't have been there, but were invited and now the Paps are getting everything on video for the whole world to see because of one person. Fists fly, accusations are thrown in the mix, and one Bombshell puts her foot down to let everyone know how she feels.
In the end, everyone gets what they want, and it's all for the right reasons. This is my favorite book, but not in the way you think. Pax, Oliver, Five, Nolan, Mac, and West all have a place in my heart. But after this story. Nolan moved up a few spots. I promise, this is one of the best I've read.
The h was quite likable. The H was just a huge horse’s hiney.
At the end of their story is a page the writer chose to include, she called something like ‘The end of the book s***.’ I had never heard of this before but here it is. It describes this horse’s hiney as a ‘damaged male’, or something similar.
I find I don’t like my heroes to be ‘damaged’. Or certainly not as damaged as is the case here.
In a few words, this was abusive, borderline rape, humiliation, force, and blackmail, all wrapped up in porn.
And that was only the 1st book.
Clearly not what I want to read, or would recommend. And I won’t bother reading the rest of the series.
Top reviews from other countries
These are not romance books, like another person I only got as far as finishing book 2, I started book 3 but gave up.
I've given it 4 stars because they are well written, but not what you expect from the description and don't want to mark down something that might be someone else's thing.
Five men are accused of rape, these books are set 10 years later. The author is a good writer, and if you're into that then you'll probably enjoy the books. I'm not, but did give them a try as I wasn't aware what the content would be from the blurb.
I'm sorry but the men have no redeeming features, and they are certainly not romantic.
I like a good alpha male book, but these are just bullies and do nothing to make you think they weren't capable of the gang rape they were accused of.
