New right away the lamp needed replacement as did this few years ago.
Ordered this lamp with housing, took off the three screws off the front behind the speaker cover
Noticed that this did not just slide in, tit had some play
So you will have to fiddle to get it to slide on the connector, this should have been the first clue
Then in less than two months TV fails with red lamp light again
Thank god this had a 6 month warranty, returned for refund since it was fulfilled by Amazon.Com
They charged restocking fee for return shipping
I'm opting now for the Phillips branded 915P020010 lamp with housing for $99
The T.V. which was once a mainstay of our 6 member family's entertainment (Netflix on Roku, T.V., video games, Blu-ray DVD's) is now relegated to occasional due to the annoying and unpredictable flicker of the screen. Disappointing.
Thanks again for this wonderful website,
the only reason i even messed with it that long is that replacing a 62" TV (WD-62327) is not a trivial expense so i was willing to fiddle with it for a significant amount of time.
