They've worked great and I have no complaints! Doesn't take much to be a good steel bowl, but I still use them almost every time I cook. REVIEW UPDATE 1/6/18 After posting my original review below, was contacted twice by Customer Service, asking if there was anything they could do to remedy the situation, and offered 3 solutions: 1 A full refund. 2 A brand new replacement set of the same bowls 3 A brand new set of different, thicker steel bowls. They ended up giving me a full refund, and, I didn't have to ship the original, dented bowls back. While my original opinions of the bowls stand, the value of the bowls + customer service is clearly 5 Stars.

ORIGINAL REVIEW December 2017. This budget set is ok. They do the job of mixing cooking ingredients together. They're durable & clean easily. The cheap price comes from the bowl's walls being very thin, about the thickness of a dime. Stainless steel gets banged up very easily when its this thin - especially on the bigger bowls where they'll be more flexible. So even though they come with a "mirror shine" - it doesn't mean anything. Mine came with a few dings & dents in some of the bowls, and they've never been used. This is how thin the walls of the bowls are. You could bend these bowls out of shape with your bare hands, using just moderate strength.

All that said, for pure cooking functionality - they'll work fine. The more you use them & longer you own them, the more beat up they'll get. So they are NOT mixing and serving bowls.
