Adhesive strips not holding after only 5 months

The cover is now drooping down in my trunk after only 5 months. The car is mostly garaged and not subject to harsh environment. The adhesive strips are simply not good enough to hold the cover up against the inside of the truck. I hope the seller will send me better replacement adhesive strips.

It looks a little nicer than before.
You need to remove the garnish in the top of the trunk (only newer 2019+ models) older cars can just install it without removing anything.
Close the big hole in the parcelshelf before. Closing the hole makes a noise differnce- for 2nd row occupants only! - this carpet just looks nicer when you put your head in the trunk and look up with a flashlight...

Once installed, I'm very happy with my purchase mainly because the hood now looks finished. Before, without the pad, it looked unfinished. Regarding the installation, I used some extra 3M adhesive tape around the latch as well as at the very bottom near the windshield which I think helps with a nicer look. The included screw clips are not good. It seems like there are better solutions out there for attaching this. I had to fight with a few of the clips to work correctly. In the end I got it installed and it looks real good. Is it any quieter in the cabin? I can't tell... but that wasn't my reason for purchasing it. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the included screw clips are awful.
