Bought these because for the price/features, it is an excellent value. Sound is surprisingly decent. Have bought similarly priced headphones that sounded muddy and flat, but these are pretty balanced, as far as I'm concerned. There is some questionable build quality issues though. When I juggle the part that connects to the jack, you can hear crackling. Maybe a drop of superglue would fix that.
I can't remember what the last headphone sounded like, but I noticed that these had a very very slight white noise all the time. It doesn't bother me too much, and it almost adds an analog feel to the sound.

Pros:
Sounds decent
Blocks ambient sound decently
Flat wires are more tangle resistant
Has a mic
Looks nice
Cheap

Cons:
No volume control
Questionable build quality

Overall, I would definitely buy these again. I'm no audiophile, so I'm fairly happy with them. Your mileage may vary though.

Great If You are Very Still

These buds are pretty good if you are not moving around too much. I bought them to use at gym as my ipod buds were pretty worn and needed replaced. I shopped around and decided to go with these. They give you two additional sizes (fits) but so far I have only used the ones that were on it when received. When I am at the gym they vibrate and it makes the music bounce around in my ears and is very irritating. If I can get the cord (which is a very decent length) not to move around then I am OK--But, I did get these for the gym so time for more shopping. If you are going to sit still then buy these, if you are getting you jam on then I suggest you pass on these.

The cord is much thinner which cuts down on the cord thump but it's also MUCH shorter which is less useful than the older model

The white model is a 'newer' version than what is shown. The cord is much thinner which cuts down on the cord thump but it's also MUCH shorter which is less useful than the older model.

These fell apart at the ear piece within the first week, sounded great before that though!

Great Design... Poor Quality

I wasn't ready to spend $50-100 on ear buds, so was excited to find these. At this price point you don't expect great quality, but I purchased these ear buds because of the design features; the flat cable, the in-ear shape, the in-line microphone on the cable to the ear not at the Y. All things I was looking for, plus out of the box they sounded pretty good, though I did have to get used to higher isolation of my own voice during cell phone conversations than I was used to (bug or feature?). Unfortunately they did not last long. The flat cable started coming apart from the microphone casing after only a few days, which I assumed was maybe due to my tugging it accidently, but then one of the cables at the base plug lost contact a few days after that. I lost the left ear and a had a crackly mic. I've had $5 knock-offs last longer if not look or feel as good... doesn't matter how cool they are if they don't work.

The Amazon vendor (JM PRIME) was great and offered to replace but I was afraid the same would happen again so passed, and will continue to look.

it came two days earlier that it was spouse to and it look like some one open up the package where the headphones where and took them out but didn't use them but one of the ear fittings is gone but other wise everything else works
