I first came across the sesame goodness of goma dare in 2017 at a Japanese hot pot restaurant in New Haven, Connecticut called "Dashi." My wonderful server told me what it was, then she told me how to make it. I made it, and it was perfect, but the method is a bit much. I've been looking for some goma dare that I could purchase, and came across this. I wish I saved my money. I don't see how anyone would eat this sweet, sugary stuff with their hot pot. Goma dare isn't made with this much sugar and definitely not corn syrup.
There are a bunch of great goma dare and kingoma recipes online. But if you don't want to buy all the sauces to make it, you can make a great goma dare for shabu shabu with just two ingredients: mix 2 parts Kenko Creamy Kin Goma Dressing and one part tahini paste or one-half part tahini paste if you want it a little bit more sweet.

To my surprised, the sauce was delicious with lots of flavors that goes well with my hot pot!
