fit is perfect & sliding shorts stay put on thighs.
She really likes them and says they are a perfect fit.
These are perfect spandex type shorts for volleyball players but not sliding shorts.

I ordered 4 of these shorts in my true size, expecting them to do what they said... compress! When I received them, they were very loose-fitting. Now I can't even return them because THERE IS A 15% RESTOCKING FEE (not disclosed on the Amazon sale page!) This, in addition to the return postage, makes it too expensive to be worth it. I'm sorry I bought these.

This is a seldom style of shorts of this type that you can find in size XXS, and they provide comfortable compression if you have size between 0 and 2. But wow, the middle panel is see through (I've noticed that not immediately, only with more light from the back), so you need to be very brave to "go public" in them uncovered...

I decided to get these for my daughter. She always wears sliders for softball, but hates they way the fit and bunch up. So when reading all the reviews on these, I decided to try them.
She absolutely loved compression factor, they never bunch up or cause rashes, even during a full day of softball in 90 degree weather. We were completely satisfied and will be order more pairs.

My daughter plays college softball and she loves these Mizuno sliding shorts. We always bought UnderArmour before but now these are her new favorite. I bought her two pair and may need more before the season is over.

At 98# (5'-5"), my daughter does not really need "compression" per se. The extra small size fits her perfectly--- not too tight and not too loose. These are very well made, durable, soft and comfortable. She has three pairs and wants more.

No "Extra padding on side panels for extra protection." Padding was not there. These are like normal short leggings. Returned. I ended up buying UnderArmour brand sliding shorts instead. The UnderArmour brand had light padding as described. This Mizuno brand had zero padding contrary to the description.

I ordered these in White and purple all 2X. They fit below the natural waist but there is no compression in the leg area. I do not have big thighs though.
also the White are about two inches shorter than the purple ones. Otherwise they size is the same. There is no padding ...which I like.
I did keep both pair and am waiting for the red and pink to be delivered.
i will use them under tennis skirts

They fit my daughter fine, but were not as thick as expected. She's been wearing them under shorty shorts and will wear them for soccer too. Nice for a little extra protection from sliding, but not as thick as some others she has.
