I was interested because these are the famous Filibuster Shoes. Then I read the reviews, and someone said these hug a narrow heel but still allow lots of room for toes. So I took the advice to go up one size, ordered them, they came today, and I LOVE THEM!!! They don't just hug my heels, they cushiony snuggle them, and my toes have room left over. No heel slippage, and no toe crushage. And they weigh virtually nothing. Even when I hadn't opened the box from Amazon yet, I was amazed at how little the box weighed. And they are ridiculously adorable. I've never liked white sneakers, but I didn't like the weird combinations you could get instead. This is beyond weird to fun. I would call the color "scalding salmon." They look great with my dark indigo jeans.
About size: my feet were measured at Nordstrom this past week, and they said I wear 7 B on my right foot and 6.5 B on my left foot. I have often bought anything from 6.5 to 8, depending on the brand. I ordered these in size 8, and they are perfect.
Thanks, Wendy. Now, tell me, what kind of shoes should I get for my duck feet to wear to the office this winter, hmmm?
UPDATE:
I got these in July, and now it's September. I still love them. They were not stiff when they came, by any means, but they did become more flexible after I had worn them a couple of times. I mostly wear sandals in the summer, but will wear these more now that temperatures have begun to fall. I got them for walking because I do not run, but have surprised myself by jogging since I got these. I walk faster in them, too. There's just something about the way my feet meet the ground that is so encouraging.
