Update 11/27/2015. This iPad case is a good case and the customer service is really good but there is one issue with this case that will always happen. The issue is the fact you have to pop your iPad out from the two bottom things that hold your iPad to use it in landscape mode will wear out of crack so if you constantly switch from landscape and portrait this might not be the case for you.

UPDATE: let me say I did really like this case and as in my previous post I mentioned the issues but there's something I have to say now this company was very awesome in the fact that they contacted me out of the blue and said they wanted to send me a new one because they didn't want a customer to have a bad experience with their products. So I got it within three days and to me this case seems 5 X's better then the previous one and I'm loving it because it's not that heavy to me. I'm giving it 4 stars because I want to see how it handles everyday use and just see if it can hold up so I will be writing another update in about a month

I really liked this case but the quality just wasn't there after a couple months it started to come apart around the seams but also the constant need off having to pop out the bottom part of the iPad to get it like the above picture cause the plastic grips that holds your iPad in to crack and when I dropped my iPad on a wooden floor the case brok.

Nearly impossible to beat for the price

It's hard finding accessories for the iPad. Too many small fish companies trying to leech on Apple's success. The varying quality and prices are incredibly broad and not consistent with each other. Seen crappy cases that were over $100, seen decent cases that were in the $20-30 range.

This case falls into the latter. The quality is better than you'd expect for the price. It feels pretty nice actually; others have commented on the quality and were surprised when I said this was a $20 case. After I decided that the official Apple brand smart cover was an overpriced POS and a back cover wasn't sufficient for my tastes and it doesn't protect the screen, a folio case was the logical way to go. The problem with a lot of folio cases is that they're trying to look super professional, and the large majority of them are covered in a cheap fake leather that just looks tacky. I really didn't want a strong leathery look or feel, real or otherwise; in fact, I tried my best to find a folio case that wasn't even trying to emulate leather. This case fit the bill suitably.

The front portion that covers the screen is pretty sturdy. I'm not worried about anything clipping the screen accidentially and causing any damage. Same for the back, though my primary concern for the back is to prevent scuffs and scratches.

Let me say this; if I drop my ipad with this case on, I don't expect it to protect it much. The sides are almost entirely exposed, which occasionally makes me nervous. With cases in general, you can either go with slim or you can go the uber protection route and put enough padding on it to throw it across the room. I opted for the former. While I know I sacrificed some protection against the worst case scenario; I know it's protected against normal wear and tear and it was more important to me to preserve the slim feel of the device.

The handhold seems a little iffy; I suspect after a few months, the elastic is going to look like crap, so I use it sparingly. Plus the angle of it isn't entirely comfortable anyways.

So the gist:

Pros:
- price
- quality look / feel
- two viewing angles when propped up
- can turn the device on / off like the smart covers do
- more than adequate protection for standard wear and tear

Cons:
- sides are nearly completely exposed, probably couldn't take any kind of serious impact
- no portrait viewing option
- a 3rd angle for landscape view would have been nice at a more reclined angle
- elastic handhold is almost guaranteed to get stretched out with use

I've been so pleased with the nearly identical MoKo case I have for my Nexus 7 that I decided to buy this one for my recently purchased used iPad 2.
The iPad 2 fits perfectly in the case, the automatic sleep and wake feature works well, and the option to use the case as a stand at one of two angles makes this a no-brainer purchase.
What a great value!

UPDATE 1: I put this case on an iPad 4 and I notice that the VERY snug-fitting two middle bracing tabs actually visibly warp the glass. This troubles me.
I like that they are firmly holding the tablet but I fear that glass under stress will be more likely to break even in a minor drop or knock against a surface. I changed my rating from five to four stars.

UPDATE 2: I tried to bend one of the middle tabs and heard a disconcerting "crack" sound. Apparently they are internally hard plastic and I broke it. The broken tab is now very much looser but still contributes some hold to the tablet.
I'm a disappointed that I broke the tab but I'd rather have that than stressed glass. I carefully "massaged" the other tight tab in hopes that it will loosen.

Bought this due to another case starting to rip. Found this and the Price was worth a gamble on. Won the gamble with this case. It fits the iPad perfectly and can be held upside down (over a bed first) to show the clips on the corners work. Have no issues in both the material or the plastic as it just works. Useful feature that the front cover has the grooves to allow the iPad to stand in landscape mode as certain online "Y" tube videos can be watched or listened to in the background, Has been used to help cook a dinner...not saying the case cooked the dinner but the ability to hold the iPad help.

I bought this case for my iPad after purchasing the Moko Nexus 7 case. It's a fantastic case with great build quality. It offers more protection than the official ipad smart case. It is made of leather which gives the case a premium feel and still has that magnetic closure of other cases.
Open it up, use it as a stand, it functions just as it should. I have had this case for about 3 months and it still looks brand new.
