Aesthetics over utility

This isn't the most effective coaster I've owned. It is, however, the most attractive. If you're buying this, you're probably a bit more concerned with coasters as decor than their function (like myself). These will look lovely over a bright solid colored tabletop, and still pretty nice over surfaces such as glass or marble. They don't absorb condensation, but they do ad some space between the glass and table to allow air flow to do the job. I've experienced no warping or stains using these, but if you have an expensive piece that you value more than the good looks of these coasters, go for something more heavy duty. I've only given these four stars as their zig-zagged design gives them a flimsy nature, though none have torn thus far. Overall, I'm very pleased with these beautiful modern coasters.
