This necklace shines bright when you press the button on the back. The light pulses like it does in the movie. It looks much like the necklace in the movie but made of plastic and it is made so if my child pulls it, it comes off and cannot choke anyone. The only downfall is that it is very difficult for my child to open it.

Hello! I bought this necklace a few weeks or month ago, and I love it!!! I wanted to get this necklace cause I started getting in the mood to look for Disney things/replicas! I love the necklace! I chose this particular one because first of all its a Disney brand and its the only one that glows without singing or anything! Unfortunately, it didn’t work and glow, whilst there is a compartment to place batteries its really hard to open and to open it you have to break the necklace and glue it again-this is what I saw on a youtube video for battery replacement. I didn’t replace the battery cause I wanted to preserve the necklace and not break it just a few if not the next day I got it. This isn’t a issue for me since its pretty anyway and I can use my imagination! I gave the “value for money” category a 4/5 stars because to be fair it didn’t work for me and I know this is still a important factor even if for me personally I don’t mind. I don’t know if its just a defective one but I did have a heads up when buying it from other reviews that said it didn’t work! You still get a fine piece even if it doesn’t glow! Though im sure it would’ve look gorgeous✨. Now as for it being non toxic and such it isn’t! The chain is rubber and it has the basic rubber scent, obviously you wouldn’t want to inhale it all the time! But it’s not that strong but it depends on what your understanding is of a strong scent. Its just the basic rubber scent and nothing usual! Its plastic and it does open! You can’t take out the heart of tifiti but its still nice! Overall, its really nice and a good investment! Just keep in mind that it may or may not work in terms of glow!
