From the Manufacturer
The Magic Bar from Mobee Technology is the world's first inductive charger for the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. It's a magical solution to recharge your input devices that takes only a minute to setup.
Simple Wireless Charging for Your Keyboard and Magic Trackpad
Stop trashing batteries, and stop disassembling your devices to change your batteries. Let the Magic Bar manage everything and help protect the environment. Charging your Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad will be as simple as sliding your device in the Magic Bar. Mobee Magic Bar works with the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard (2xAA battery model) and the Apple Magic Trackpad. Plug the base station to any USB port in order to begin the recharge, with no external power supply needed.
Mobee's inductive charging method uses an electromagnetic field to wirelessly charge your devices. The Mobee Magic Bar is a charging station that sends energy through inductive coupling to the battery pack attached to your keyboard or Magic Trackpad, which stores energy without the need to plug your device into a conventional charger.

The Magic Bar is a greener way to use your Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. The Magic Bar is cost effective after one year of home usage, or six months of office usage. It's made of aluminum and is recyclable.

Edit: After three month of use, I am not really enjoying this product. The included rechargeable batteries do not hold as good a charge as the Sanyo Eneloops I had been using. I sometimes have to plug in a wired keyboard because the Mobee batteries are dead. Its become irritating. Its a good idea but I now believe that the inferior rechargeable batteries make it a 2 star product.
I've been using this product for about a month and it works very well.
Here it is in bullet points. Below I go into more detail.
1) It is a premium product. Its cheaper to just buy some eneloop batteries. Its a bit "over-engineered", but it does what it says.
2) It seems that the quality is excellent.
3) A good effort by the designer... but there are some really obvious ways to improve it.
Buy it if it tickles your fancy, but I feel pretty ambivalent about it.
All the instructions are shown in pictures so its suitable for any market. But you don't really need instructions, its really obvious that you just put the batteries in, plug the bar into the computer, and put the two together.
The item is made to match the existing finish of the aluminum. The part that sticks out of the keyboard is not a perfect match, but its close enough.
The inductive charging works the way its supposed to.
The base is larger than necessary. I don't really want something else lying around my house. My keyboard "lives" on the couch, and when the battery dies I just change out Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Which isn't that hard. Now I pick up the keyboard and put it on the bar, which lives on the entertainment center. I would think it would be more environmental and less expensive for the customer if the base were much much smaller. Still, it looks nice, but, its a bit wasteful.
I was using Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries before I got this product, and i don't think this product is saving me more money or better for the environment. Its only better if you are using typical disposable batteries. And if you care about the environment, you were probably already doing that.
The charge cable could be better. The carve base spends very little time charging the keyboard (the way I use it)... so... why not make it with a pass through USB plug on the cable, near the computer? The keyboard is only using power, so, its not necessary to have a usb hub, just tap the power off another connection. Then I wouldn't "waste" a USB port 90% of the time. but my Mac Mini has plenty of USB ports, so I guess its not THAT big a deal. Just thinking out loud.
If you think its cool, don't hesitate, just buy it. It does what it claims. But I think overall its more for show, so, just 3 stars.
After a month or so of use I went to pull the keyboard off the charger and was upset to find the nub part that slides into the charger had come apart from the rest of the rod. At the time I was able to get it back together but it still needs squeezed back to place every few days. Now I'm having problems getting the battery to even take a charge so the whole thing is pretty much worthless at this point.
I love the idea behind the design (and it is made of a very similar aluminum as the keyboard) but won't be buying another one until there is a way to inductively charge them without having to stick a nub into a nub home. Not to mention it looks incredibly stupid to have that half inch bump on the end of an otherwise rectangular or square item. If you're into aesthetics then this isn't the product for you. I also noticed that The battery drained way too quickly for me, I was having to stick the keyboard back in its dock e Rey couple days eventually... Sorta ruins the idea of a wireless keyboard.
