Even though I would like to give this book a higher rating I am unable to
After the first book in this series I had hoped that the story of Virginia and Maude would be clarified. The interjection of these two characters makes no sense in the overall story. They just seem to be fillers..The story was left hanging again in this second book of the series. Both of these stories of Maude and Virginia in the overall novel are left disjointed and make no sense with the rest of the plot. Hopefully, in the 3rd book this story will be resolved and add to the overall conclusion.
The Amish characters and the overall plot is very interesting and that's why I have given three stars. The greenhouse setting is different than a lot of Amish novels and I like that. I also like the author bringing in a few characters from her prior books which seems to give a continuance to the author's prior stories.
I really look forward to book three about Belinda and Henry who are much more interesting characters than Sylvia who is highlighted in book 2.
