It takes impressions really well (see the leaf imprints), and I was surprised that the colours mixed so well. The box contains bright hues (a lot of pinks and blues), but I was easily able to create more muted tones and marbling.
I've included 3 pics of creations I liked, and 1 pic of ones I was not so happy with.
For detail, it can be a learning curve, tricky to get things right before the clay dries, and if 2 undried pieces touch, you won't get them apart (unlike polymer clay). iI dries on the outside first while the inside can still be quite soft, so I had to be careful how I held pieces whilst working on them else they squished out of shape. Also, you'll see in the pics that I couldn't blend in some pieces I attached as the outer layers were already dried.
You can soften it with just 1 drop of water, and use less than this to join pieces, but some colours do run. The orange cat in the pics bled orange on to the chest when I added water to join them, giving him a bit of a collar.
I would also recommend painting small eyes, as the black can be quite dull, and putting in tiny tiny clay dots needs a gentle hand and precision to get it right first time.
This would be great for kids, especially as results are instant, but I also recommend for adults with a creative streak. A couple of friends have seen them and wanted to play too.

I'm not a crafty person, but this kit inspires me. I did not expect to get such amazing results! The clay is really easy to work with, and sticks to itself easily for making things with pieces from different colors. When it is dry, it is still very squidgy but keeps its shape. I have put small velcro stickers on the back for use on a reward chart, and with how light they are they easily stay put! Lastly the selection of colors is superb! See my picture. I wish it would state somewhere how long it takes for them to dry / set completely, but I've been leaving them overnight, and I make sure to handle them carefully the next day, then they seem fine. I highly recommend this product: quality, inspirational and value for money!

Fab colours, not one duff one in the box.
Super soft "clay" with a feel almost like slime(but not sticky). Easy to blend & mix to create new colours.
End result, once dried, is an item soft to the touch and very lightweight.
Great for kids & adults. I made "beads"(lovely marbled effect with three colours) and a pencil topper(doggie face) whilst my boys had fun simply pulling and twisting the "clay".
One thing to note is that once a piece is placed on another it is hard to separate them.

I was very very surprised by this, I’m new to modelling clay so this was a great way for me to practice! I wasn’t expecting it to be so incredibly light and spongey, but I’m making Christmas decorations, so it was a huge plus that it was so light so I could hang them on the tree! They are only very small pots but it’s so affordable that I will just buy again! It even comes with a little booklet of ideas you can make! I’m in love with this little kit and I have now found a new hobby! I used a glitter mod podge to seal them and give them a nice glaze!
