These aren't stories just to pass the time away. No, they are much more. Have you ever "Snapped" while making "Hairpin Turns"? Then you have some valuable insights within your being--like me, you'll hone them through these two stories. In "Building Castle" you'll get a heartfelt feeling for what a caring, loving father is all about. And in "Ivy Lake Dreaming" you just might, if you're like me, become happier with what you have rather than dissatisfied with what you don't have.
"Bows and Arrows" struck home with me, for sometimes a dreamed-for toy can hurt God's creatures and our own hearts. "A Christmas of True Value" provides me with some multi-faceted insights into both hurtful and helpful family relationships. I'm human with many years of personal struggle and growth, so some of these parables needed to mature inside of me before I could open up to the healing they could offer me, and the Healer they pointed to.
Hey, "Mac & Cheese"--seems to be that's what Jesus would multiply today to feed an almost endless arrival of guests. A true story, 2,000 years ago with fish and loaves of bread, and today with something more in demand by snackers.
Are you prone to sales pitches? Then "My Car-Baby" will educate you from the heart to the head! Could save you future "buyer's remorse" and money headaches.
The author's ministry goes beyond his books. He offers you links for special offers: a monthly newsletter with fresh insights and skits so you can share these with youth groups. Such a bargain for 10 cents a story! Try this book out. After all, Amazon.com offers you a refund if it isn't for you. Right there, I think there is a parable-story! I'm thinking about it--although prolific Joe Tannian (the author) might beat me to it!
