Modern science has proven that reality is precisely designed to use a multilayered network of information processing systems to sculpt an immortal force we call energy into intelligent beings. You are this immortal force bought to life as the ultimate information processing system to perceive, explore and revel in the beauty of this design.

Science has proven that both the physical and mental dimensions of reality are information processing systems from top to bottom. These layers of interlocking information processing systems are so complex, intricate and precise that it can easily be shown that it is mathematically impossible that this magnificent design could be the result of a series of incredibly fortunate random accidents.

The book discusses the mystical beauty and elegant complexity of the entire design that modern science has actually discovered, from the bizarre choreography of the subatomic world to the necessity and beauty of consciousness, our mental "superpowers" and the glory of the mental dimension that we create and inhabit.

Faced with this scientific proof of intelligent design atheists have scrambled to protect their worldview. They have had to totally abandon our scientific knowledgebase and are currently hiding behind a diversionary smokescreen they have dreamt up that ridiculously claims that "everything happens somewhere" in an infinity of other universes that they have imagined.

The author, who had been an atheist for most of his life, presents a compelling, easy to read argument that all of modern science's evidence describes an intelligently designed multilayered information processing system with a beautiful purpose, you.

About the Author

Ken has a doctorate in electrical engineering with a strong background in information processing, mathematics and modern physics. He spent his 45 year career as a system engineer working on the leading edge of the development of next generation information processing systems and sensors. During his career he led teams of hundreds of engineers and scientist in the development our most sophisticated missile systems.

Ken retired as a Vice President of Raytheon managing their Advanced Systems organization. It was a development group of about 800 engineers and scientists developing the technology, the hardware, the algorithms and the software to design and create the next generation of a wide variety of missile systems. These life experiences have given him an extremely strong background in system engineering and in the evolution of information processing systems and technologies over the last fifty years.

He had been an atheist for most of his life. However, after decades of considering the evidence that modern science has accumulated, he came to have a deep appreciation for the stunning design of the universe and life that science has discovered. His background brings a relatively unique systems engineering and information processing perspective to the scientific worldview debate and the consequent intelligent design discussion.

His previous book Jenny's Universe was published in English, German and Polish and discussed the precision and complexity of the multilayered design that science has discovered to be the structure of reality. He wrote that book to explain to his adult children (and himself) why after 40 years of being a committed atheist he had become convinced that the universe, life and consciousness are all the result of an intelligent design. Ken lives with his wife, Anne, on Canyon Lake in the Texas Hill Country.

The book was a delightful, easy to read ride through the modern scientific landscape focused upon the power of information processing to create layer upon layer of beautiful things in both the physical and mental dimensions of reality. The author's conclusion that science has proven that all of this mind boggling complexity had to be designed and could never have accidentally just randomly happened seems a lot more reasonable than the current atheistic belief that there are an infinity of different universes.

This book should be required reading for all young people. It shows how modern science has proven that the complexity of reality, life, mind, consciousness and humanity could never have been the result of quad-zillions of incredibly fortuitous accidents. It tells how the universe is made of energy and information, with layer after layer of incredibly complicated information processing systems all interlocked to create us and this magnificent world.
Science has proven atheistic claims of this all being the result of undirected, meaningless accidents are false. This is a purposeful intelligent design. The author has the ability to cut through a lot of potential complex topics and achieve an enjoyable easy to read summary of what modern science is actually telling us.

Very comprehensive, from sub-atomic particles to consciousness. You'll learn some physics, astronomy, biology and philosophy on the way. I highly recommended it.

Excellent read. This book starts at the sub atomic level where biologist start at the cellular level. It takes you through the impossible complexity of what energy does for life and explains why cells know what to do. An absolute must read.

Science claims no absolute truths (only religions claim such nonsense), so the title demonstrates a lack of scientific understanding from the get go. And if you want to learn about biology, learn it from biologists, not an electrical engineer (and vice versa). Desperation is revealed when religion tries to pretend its science. So if you want to dumb it down, heres another book for you.

If the ranting was not warranted, then the question remains whether the author should have undertaken the writing of processes described as information systems as digital. Binary? Nope. Arbitrary energy level and energy density that permeates everything, maybe. Consciousness has yet to be measured, and ah, he found it. Hummm.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to understand. Excellent

Enjoyed it. Easy to follow. Good arguments. Persuasive. Well written. Intelligent. Detailed. Informative. I'm already a 99% convert before this book, but after reading more and more on similar disciplines I'm pretty much a believer now, that Evolution is a none starter, and that there is a Creator. The next step is the biggest problem. What now....

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is like The Room for literature

First ever review on here... And it's not for a good reason. This was extraordinarily bad. Sorry to be harsh... But it was awful. The first two sentences of the very first chapter are just flat out wrong, let alone the quality of the rest of the book.

I went into this book expecting to be disappointed (as I had done a bit of background checking on the author before hand, and was not impressed with the "essay" that the author had co-authored online), but I did not expect this book to be this bad. The content of this book has severe flaws with it - some of which are as follows:

- Misapplication of IT terms
- Completely unfounded assertions which are absolutely baseless
- No reference list (at least not for the Kindle version)
- Embracing of pseudoscience (Intelligent Design) and collaborating with a pseudoscientific institution (Discovery Institute) in order to refine this book
- Complete unawareness of what specific scientific theories actually entail (i.e Big Bang for cosmogony)

I am floored that this is the work of someone who's been an electrical engineer for that length of time. I completely understand that cosmogony is not his field of expertise and neither is mine. But the way arguments are presented in this book are just.... Not good. At all. Something that is inexcusable for a person with that much experience as an electrical engineer, is his misapplication of IT terminology. A lot of this book is baseless and the only people who would recommend this book, are those who have already been hoodwinked into believing Intelligent Design.

If I was going to publish a book and that book was basically an argument for a stance I hold, I would make sure that my stance would be as water-tight as possible. This book was anything but that. I mean... Mate. The first two sentences of the very first chapter of this book are just flat out wrong... I still can't get over that. A question to the author: why would you open up with such a faulty line of reasoning? I just don't get it.

If you open up with something that flawed as an opening statement, the reader just expects the rest of the book to be as flawed as the opening statement (and the rest of the book was definitely flawed). For an introduction, you want to put your best foot forward. Stuff that up and it off-puts the reader immensely.

Making my jaw hit the floor even more is the fact that this book was published last year (in 2019)... Intelligent Design was shown to be nothing more than creationism dressed up with the Kitzmiller v. Dover ruling in 2005. It is baffling that this is still a discussion that is ongoing in the modern era when the discussion was put to rest 15 years ago.

I just... Yeah. I'm kinda at a loss. Yes, this review is rather scathing of the content - but I think it's well justified - the content of this book was incredibly bad. To other customers out there, do not get this book if you want good, solid information. The author doesn't have a clue about science, shows an absolute disregard for IT by misapplying IT terminology and the whole book is just... Fluff. As ridiculous as it sounds, that's the best way I can describe this book... Just nothing but fluff.

As scathing as this review is, I wish the best to the author and any anyone who happens across this review. Happy holidays I guess peeps.

5.0 out of 5 stars The incredible 'rightness' of being.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 20, 2020
Wonderfully reasoned exposition of the (virtual) certainty of intelligent-design,at each and every (increasingly complex) stage in the development of the Universe.Won't make much difference to anything, though.Since when has reasoned argument ever stood a chance against powers of practical propaganda, such as the atheists and scientific -materialists enjoy?

1.0 out of 5 stars Too repetitive
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 1, 2021
Although i believe in intelligent design,i found that stating the same things over and over again were the equivalent to reading the book within the first few pages.i was also unimpressed with the authors introduction to himself.designing missiles and and having engineering skills hardly makes anyone Ann expert in these fields.

Stop being repetitive and stop bragging about designing things that kill that which destroys the designers designs.
